Picolas gently sniffing my birthday flowers
I didn't intend to sit on a kitchen chair scrolling tumblr for one hour straight, but Picolas the cat flomped into my lap and promptly fell asleep, so what else am I supposed to do......
Everything is fine now but I was in a slight state of panic earlier today when I couldn't find Picolas anywhere. He didn't come when I called his name OR when I shook the bag of treats. After searching high and low for a few minutes, and feeling my pulse increasing because oh my god where was he, I went out into the stairwell of my apartment building. And out there I found him pressed up between two steps in the staircase to the next floor, looking all small and scared 😭 I gently picked him up and brought him back inside and after he'd gotten a treat he acted like nothing ever happened and went back to his daily routine.
He must have slipped out through the door when we opened it earlier, with neither me nor my partner noticing. He was out there for 1.5 hours all alone 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔
