I'm doing a pieces reread (I adore CTS with my whole heart and if I'm rereading that why not reread the whole series too) and I got curious about this moment in Stitched Together.

“Virgil said its bad luck for anyone to see it or know the color before I do,” said Roman, “It’s why he gave me his jacket,”

Logan turned to Patton.

“I didn’t know that,” he said curiously.

Patton hesitated.

“Uh, well,” he said, “It- it definitely is something I’ve heard people say.”

what's Patton's reaction there about? it seems like he's tiptoeing around saying something else.

patton is trying not to insult virgil by say 'oh thats just a superstition,' but he doesn't believe it and his first impulse is to assure roman its not true and not to worry about it

Violet I would DIE for both Patton and Logan! They're so precious and it makes me so sad that they have to deal with the Bitchelroyz for so long

Please tell me that Patton and Logan eventually have a vow renewal ceremony like how Janus and Remus had a second wedding; Patton's sadness at their stiff, drab wedding broke my heart

by popular demand yes, though it will probably be a while because i have a sort of.... miniseries almost, of which Trimming the Excess is the first, but a whole collection of fics about the Healing Process, and i have a few i'd like to get to before that one!

I am just feeling so many things rn wow. Umm. I love them. So much. Pieces is definitely one of my favourite fics ever, you just manage to balance out the fluff and angst, the communication and miscommunication, so perfectly. And you always manage a twist at the end of each chapter that I just did NOT see coming. It's just absolutely wonderful

Although I do have a bone to pick with you (/lh) because when I saw the epilogue I though oh good that means no heart wrenching angst so I don't have to prepare for tears. LITTLE DID I KNOW I would be tearing up anyway - Hecate

(On a side note I am so incredibly pleased that there's going to be more in this universe but also... prequels? That means more of the Bitchroys doesn't it... T-T)

unfortunately yes prequels does mean bitchroys BUT ALSO i mean come on dont you wanna see Patton scandalize them with that perfectly friendly handshake?

yes! some prequels, some sequels, but there is more pieces logicality coming definitely

I just caught up with the Pieces Verse Chipped Teasets story and just!!!! It made me so happy I couldn't stop crying out of delight! I'm not sure if it's been asked before and if it has I'm very sorry to trouble you, but do you have references for what each character looks like? I really want to do some fanart for it but I want to stick as close to your vision as possible for how the characters look!!

Patton has something thats about halfway between stubble and an actual beard, Roman and Logan continue to shave their facial hair when Remus stops, Virgil and Janus don’t have any 

All the Fitzboys also have freckles, though not very many - they will get more freckly post-CTS as theyre more comfortable wearing skin-revealing clothes in public and outside. Remus has the most of the three of them, then Roman, then Logan

Janus’s hair is a lighter shade of blonde and has a wave to it.

Aw man I've been imagining Janus at a solid 4'10 of height

just realized i didnt actually include the numbers just the chart like a goof, but Janus is about 5′5. Virgils at about 6′ even, the twins and Logan are all the same around 5′10, and Patton’s a little on the short side at 5′6
