After the event we walked to the end of the pier. The San Francisco Bay Bridge never gets old, even if out of focus. The yellow lights in the back are the lights of Oakland. I was having fun taking pictures of the different lights in sequence. I would purposely adjust the focus on my camera to be out of focus to get the lights in “bokeh” style. This was just outside the Exploatorium along Pier 15-17 in San Francisco.

Adam Savage visited the Exploratorium last week for a 3 day build of his take on Theo Jansen’s Strandbeests. He worked in our Outdoor Gallery and did talks with our visitors. The big reveal of his pedal powered beest was on Thursday night, and fun was had by all, even in the chilly conditions of SF summer.
