William pushes his feelings away a lot while with people (save when he's drinking). It makes him a little sad that people don't ask him how he is, or that he can't work up the courage to tell people because he thinks no one actually cares.

The only two that come to mind are Jonathan Crane and Batman.(His ex might be on that list too but it's another kind of scared)

A lot of other people he should be afraid of, he's not. It's probably because of his lack of self preservation (he wouldn't fuck with any of them though)
