Ngl kinda surreal how my relatives who live in a country with a waaaay smaller covid infection rate than in the states still take extra precautions for by refusing to get together on lunar new year, which a HUGE holiday for them over there. It makes me remember there are a good number of Americans over here who act like they're entitled to meeting their extended family on holidays, let alone believing that covid fears are overblown.

I know I'm generalizing but the difference in attitudes towards the pandemic in other countries just astounds me
