Nooooes, I’m so sorry to hear that! :( And yeah, it’s really annoying when our damn machines overheat so much, especially when it’s from doing something as innocent as playing TS2. Like dammit PC, it’s a 12-years-old game, get your act together. But I’d say that the cooling mat you got was a good investment either way! :)

How did you get your CPU to 100C playing TS2??? TS2 barely touches a modern CPU! You need to clean your heatsink :P

Well, I don’t call my rig “old tin can” for nothing! :P Joke aside, the case could definitely use some dedusting. Although, I’ve discovered that the main culprits here are the poor airflow around my case and the stifling hot weather we’re having. Put those two together, and you get some impressive overheating as illustrated in my pic. The good news is, I’ve found a solid workaround for it: I just have to create some draft and move the case to where the air can reach it, and voilà! The downside of said setup is that the case is in a rather odd place (right under my feet, to be more precise), but if that’s what it takes to stop the damn thing from catching fire, I’m all for it.

40ºC in June?! Yikes!! D: And here I was thinking that our 30+ºC were bad enough... how are you and your laptop even alive under those inhumane conditions? D: *sends all the ice cubes to you*

Buahahahahahaha, that’d be perfect! xD And make it a cover on a weird instrument like a xylophone or a kazoo or something. Judging by the randomized cover I got, my band looks like it’d play some odd experimental music anyway, so what the hell! :D

Happy to hear it! ^____^ I’ll admit that I get quite tempted at times to tweak Olive and give her a more vixen-y appearance, but her current ‘modest classic beauty’ look befits her so well that I can never bring myself to change anything about it. Why try to fix something that isn’t broken, right?

Oh, it's definitely worth it! Gorgeous.

Thank you all, I feel a lot better about this now. ^____^ That surf effect is a pain to work with (why EAxis thought that it’s be a great idea to make the effect visible only after it’s been placed is a mystery to me), but once it is in the right position, it can look pretty awesome!

I have done just that, actually. It is easier to find some neutral blue pants in the boy’s section. But it is rather noticable and indeed weird that even the texts and prints on clothes are rather sadly gendered. The cool bugs are on the boy’s shirt, no bugs for girls (except butterflies, I suppose. And yes, I did buy the bug shirt for my daughter anyway because bugs are cool). Awful lot of cars on the boy’s clothes though, because I guess boys only care about cars (or planes/boats). Girls like hearts and kittens and flowers. Nevermind the stupid texts on the clothes, princesses and superstars indeed.

And this is at an age where the actual kid hasn’t even got an opinion yet!

I'm really fussy in the sense that like, yes, I'll read a point that starts with 'there's clearly not a clear line between good/bad in snk. . . ' but if it gets to 'erwin smith is clearly an anti-hero' or they essentially place the blame on him I'm like '????? /closes tab'

I guess I'm really sensitive with that opinion but it's usually because people push towards neutral and suddenly they do some flip and go 'THEY'RE HORRIBLE PEOPLE THAT AREN'T PERFECT' and that's just as bad as being delusional about them being perfect imo. . . ?

Idk it's just starting to look like they can't read more than anything, their loss I suppose. <__<

I don't browse the tags anymore either.

Unfortunately, on my SnK blog it's just prevalent and untagged so it grinds me over time. I find it really sad it's still being said, it's less than before but I don't know what else there is to question. Tumblr always manages to come up with something ridiculous, though.
