pikmin 4 character concepts: Dan and Dori, two recurring dandori battle rivals (literally Jessie and James from Pokemon)

I don't really have a backstory for them. Maybe they were bitter rivals who got stranded on a planet after some shenanigans. they were then leafified together and forgot their old lives. they ended up working together in their dandori skills after a big character development moment in the side character filler episode. they're both super obnoxious to the player and the Rescue Corps but somehow continue to evade capture.

Maybe they eventually get cured and finally remember everything and each other and have to reevaluate their lives, but I'm not thinking that far. I'm thinking funny leaf recurring antagonists

my tools? well, uhm, i take really good care of them, but ive been here so long that theyve just, uh, turned all weird and orange. that doesnt happen at home, so it must be something to do with the atmosphere here?

oh, im getting sidetracked, uhmmm...

ive had to make new tools from scraps and treasures i find, but theyre nowhere near as fancy as my old ones... but, hey, they get the job done, right? haha! ha. heh?

poppy is the cool kid of their bunch, a tough-shelled spirit with insecurity hidden in the ripped seams.

marigold isn't a leafling at all- they are the token creature friend. capable of communicating with their big castaway buddies, they need a translator!

peony is a dandori-obsessed airhead, lost in the clouds and daydreams. youll notice them zone out, but dont worry! theyre just severely overthinking.

flax is the genius responsible for repairing the radio! a working scientist and tinkerer, despite being a little eclectic and awkward.
