A Worthy Sacrifice + Love Drunk

Pilindiel’s writing has a certain atmosphere about it in the same way that a polished piece of art exudes a certain presence: despite it being so much harder to express such a thing in words, they manage it. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they characterized both Yuuri and Victor, and they delivered both concepts beautifully. I highly recommend their work!

I honestly can't stand a lot of fics that take place in 03 fma but it's mainly bc they fuck over Roy's character and like you can have so much drama!!! Homeboy lost his eye!!! He calls Riza beautiful!!! But no let's focus on a part of his character that the fandom always misinterprets when instead you could have this neardeath experience be the motivation for him to actually pursue Riza romantically

omg yknow actually ive been reading a shitton of royai fic [including plenty of 03 fics cuz i hate myself] and not a single one has been post-series or mentioned the eye/flirting stuff. its mostly just porn and like...that weird kind of ooc comfort fic where riza helps roy deal with his ishval-related ptsd [was she not in the war in 03?? i know nothing]
