#pilot night

@coruscanttojerusalem and I are in need of some new pilots and movies. We've started doing a weekly movie night to ensure we get good stories, but keep coming up pretty empty on suggestions when we get to them, so we're taking suggestions.

Things we like: Parks and Rec (season 3 and forward) Elementary ATLA Teen Titans (2005) Batman: the Animated Series (Fox run) Leverage Kaguya-sama: Love is War

Related/suggested shows that have been a swing-and-a-miss: Kim's Convenience The Dragon Prince Batman: the Animated Series (WB run) The Office (both American and UK)

Suggested shows we did like!: Superstore The Thick of It (okay, so, only kind of, but this is what we generally actually want to watch if we say to ourselves, "let's watch The Office")

Kinds of movies we like: Heist movies (e.g. the Ocean's series) Swashbuckling movies (e.g. The Princess Bride, The Mask of Zorro) Well-animated fun movies (e.g. Into the Spider-Verse, The Incredibles)

All suggestions are open -- sometimes starting one thing and discovering we're not super huge fans can lead us to something we like more (see The Thick of It).

Episode 1

Here is a short summary of all that happens in the episode airing tonight: 

A. Vera has a new look. Vera’s dressing differently much to the dismay of her boyfriend, Atticus, and best friend, Ivy. Hunter is also introduced B. Axl McQueen has his eye on a new prize, and her name is Tatiana. Tatiana’s friend, Olive, doesn’t like how close they’re getting. C. Lennon and Sadie have recently started dating. Introduction to Lennon, Sadie, and Inez D.  Vera and Axl’s parents are dating, and introduced E.  Eden is partnered with Zane in dance class for the rest of the semester. 

If you would like to elaborate on your character’s characters plot and talk about it on social media, that’s welcomed and encouraged, just please let Admin KT know what you’re planning to say happened to avoid conflict with future episodes. If your character wasn’t mentioned specifically, they’re in the episode, but they were introduced in a cafeteria scene.
