Q: What happened to you after the tower fell? (1/2)
Don't forget to hit the ask button!
CLOUD TOWER✨Cloud Tower is already two years old, so ahhh… I updated the info post so that the old-timers have something new to read and watch.
Cloud Tower is an alternate universe for the game "Pizza Tower," where the protagonist Peppino Spaghetti and his friends Gustavo and Mr. Stick find themselves in a cloud world inhabited by a variety of creatures.
Let's clarify a few details: Cloud Tower changes the characters' personalities based on their environment. Their relationships, roles in the plot, and so on are significantly altered, with only Peppino, Gustavo, and Mr. Stick retaining their personalities, though the others retain some of their canonical characterizations.
The main trio are taken from the canon universe, and in this case, it's safe to say that other canonical characters, such as Noise and Pizzahead, also exist in the AU. The AU takes place approximately a year after the tower's destruction.
The AU focuses more on relationships, psychology, and emotions than on a coherent plot with strong twists. Please treat the characters as real people with their own pitfalls, mistakes, false beliefs, and the right to be understood.
The place Peppino and his friends find themselves in is called the "Dream Kingdom." It's located in the sky and is surrounded by a strange, unrealistic atmosphere: a pink sky, stars you can touch, pink clouds you can stand on, and enormous buildings constructed from familiar materials like bricks. The kingdom combines themes of the sky, space, and sleep. It's home to a variety of creatures: asteroids, stars, comets, humanoids with heads shaped like sleep-related objects (alarm clocks, pillows), as well as anthropomorphic birds, dragons, and harpies.
Peppino, Gustavo, and Mr. Stick remain unchanged in their personalities and remain the same as they were in the original version of the game. It can only be added that they have become quite close as a result of the events of the original game.
BRICK -- is one of Cloudhead's sheep who strayed from the flock when she met Gustavo on the borders of the kingdom, thereby helping him reach the center. Brick is the largest of the sheep and, according to Cloudhead, one of the shyest. He always thought she stood out from the others due to her aloofness, but she was much more tactile and friendly towards the kingdom's inhabitants. She sleeps and eats frequently, and enjoys being brushed.
Brick considers herself to be something close to the human mind. She often tries to imitate Gustavo's facial expressions and gestures, considering herself as human as her friend. She has a strong need for tactile closeness with Gustavo and, thanks to her charm, chooses him as a friend among all other people, because she feels that he will never hurt her.
STARMAN (Pepperman) -- is the main artist in Cloud's kingdom and one of his closest friends. Starman often appears shy and reserved, focusing on a small group of people and hovering around them. Despite this, he is often described positively: he's a good listener, creative, supportive, and pleasant to talk to.
He's not as artistically limited as his original counterpart. On the contrary, he prefers to draw his family and landscapes, although he mostly does the latter for Cloud.
Even though many people like Starman, he feels inadequate, and when he sees someone doing better than him, envy often unsettles him. He often struggles with thoughts of not fitting in and standing out, especially among the kingdom's other stars, such as Noise.
Starman is a very gentle person. He has difficulty making important decisions, and his opinions can be swayed by the words of loved ones. He often adapts to the people he loves, ignoring their negative aspects and quirks, emphasizing only the positive, or even exaggerating their positive qualities, considering them ideal.
VIGILANTE – Captain of the Guard. Vigilante acts as a father figure to Cloud, and Cloud often consults him on important matters, seeing him as more responsible and experienced. Surprisingly, Vigilante has served the kingdom since Cloud's parents' reign, and has a close relationship with his mother. After his parents' deaths, Cloud grew up under Vigilante's "guardianship," imbuing him with qualities such as composure and the ability to make tough decisions. This closeness has built a strong trust between them, so Vigilante is one of the few people Cloud allows to guard the entrance to his quarters.
Vigilante is the most aloof of Cloud's friends. They often shy away from and fear him, assuming he's angry or frustrated, though Vigilante himself simply feels extremely antisocial in such situations. Over centuries of service, he's completely lost interest in empty entertainment or mediocre pursuits, and the only reason he spends time with company is to avoid upsetting Cloud, who blindly believes (or at least tries to convince himself) that he's capable of keeping the company together.
Vigilante, like all other asteroids, loves only once and for all. If his soulmate rejects him or dies, he'll never be able to love again.
NOISE AND NOISETTE – in this AU, they are the reincarnations of the previous rulers of a kingdom in space. The kingdom is called the Kingdom of Noise and Noisette. Noiz gave this name so that everyone would understand who the ruler of this place is.
They embody the sun and the moon, Yin and Yang. Noisette is calm, sensible, and responsible for ensuring the people's comfort; she often negotiates with other kingdoms. Noise is energetic and chaotic, embodying wild ideas and insisting that the kingdom should always be about fun and relaxation. Noise and Noisette can never be apart for long: they are bound together and cannot work separately.
In their kingdom, Noise and Noisette promote the importance of love; they practically live by this love. This is one of the main differences between the native inhabitants of the Dream Kingdom and the inhabitants of the kingdom of Noise and Noisette. The inhabitants of their kingdom have a strong understanding of love - it is practically innate, while Cloud's subjects are far from this feeling and prefer the concept of "procreation" instead.
FAKE PEPPINO – here, he is a hallucination of Peppino, who, under the influence of magic in the Dream Kingdom, becomes real. His appearance is caused by Peppino's horribly disrupted sleep patterns. Fake himself is not an exact copy of Peppino or the Fake from the original universe, as the events after the tower greatly affected Peppino.
Fake Peppino is able to take any form, or more precisely, copy the silhouette of any person he sees. Despite his origins, he is quite friendly and curious, so he enjoys spending time in the company of others, especially Peppino.
Sometimes, Fake Peppino doesn't feel like a separate person. There are times when he believes he has no distinct worldview and is merely a copy of someone else. Regardless, he copies the gestures and speech of those he likes, believing that this will make him liked and allow him to fit in, despite his odd personality.
CLOUDHEAD (Pizzahead) – also known as Cole. In this AU, Cloudhead is Cloudface's (or Cloud's) son. He is the heir to the kingdom, but he has never been taught how to rule it. Cloudhead lives under the overprotective care of his father, who is extremely concerned for his safety.
Cole lives like a princess in a tower under the supervision of Vigilante, without his friends (only Vigilante, Starman, Noize, and Noizette), and his only escape is herding cloud sheep. Since childhood, he has rarely been separated from his sheep: he sleeps with them, interacts with them as if they were real people, and spends almost all his free time with them.
Cloudhead is socially inexperienced and can chatter excessively, ask inappropriate questions, or discuss personal matters without thinking. Having a friend is a great blessing for him, so meeting Peppino and his friends was the happiest moment for Cole.
Cloudhead is quite empathetic and gentle towards others, always willing to support a friend's idea, even if he doesn't like it, and lacks the ability to assert his boundaries (though he does sometimes succeed). However, Cole often turns a blind eye to the obvious immoral actions of those close to him, as he was taught to ignore such things, and the fear of losing his only friends trumps moral principles.
Cloudhead is much more frail than his father—he can't even fly, which greatly distresses him. He often dreams of learning to fly and seeing the world beyond the kingdom, so he secretly spends time on the edges of the Dream Kingdom, where clear "fields" of clouds stretch.
CLOUDFACE (Pizzaface) – more commonly referred to here as Cloud. He is the ruler of this kingdom. It was with his help that Peppino and his friends entered the kingdom through a dream (for them, it's still a dream, but with vivid sensations).
Cloud is a very complex person; he lacks empathy. He has psychopathic traits, making him difficult to talk to. Cloud is arrogant and proud, but, in keeping with his image as a good ruler, he treats his subjects gently, though he demands special respect. He is a good friend and conversationalist, but he respects his friends' comfort not for their well-being, but to feel right himself. Because of this emotional detachment, he is the last person in the group to support or listen. Despite this, Cloud recognizes the dire situation and strives to learn empathy, even though the concept is extremely distant for him.
Cloud often displays a cool head when running the kingdom. His friends sometimes compare him to two different people: the kingdom's ruler and the Cloud they befriend—completely different sides of the same person.
He is the guardian of dreams: the kingdom's inhabitants are always blessed with good dreams. Cloud can travel within these dreams, observe them, alter them, or grant them specific dreams. He works practically day and night, with very little time to rest. This work puts Cloud under a lot of stress, although he hates it when his friends see him in a weak state.
Cloud is a creative person. He has a greenhouse, a piano, which he plays from time to time, endlessly rising bookcases with his (and other people's) books, and he also excels in painting and cooking. He has been doing all of this for centuries, and it seems he excels at everything.

I'm a bit late but Happy birthday Pizza Tower, you've changed my life. Has it been 3 years already? Wowie
Not only did it inspire me to draw my art more expressive and cartoonishly, but it helped me florish a friendship with someone who would become a close friend and even help me get out of a bad relationship
I've seen the game grow during its development, absolutely explode in popularity online with the culture forming around it shorly afterwards and now it is forever a part of of videogame culture as a whole. That's surreal
To celebrate its anniversary, here's an art dump of Pizza Tower art I made from when I was really fixated on the game in 2023 which you can look under the cut. It's not everything I drew, but it's a looooot
