So apparently it snowed in Mammoth, Yosemite, and Yellowstone today? And I kept thinking about that one time @hailmoney went hiking and at the beginning of the hike it was a standard easy hike and by the end of it we were like, "Uhh, where's the trail?" and then we got stuck in the snow on the side of the road and had to wander around Big Bear to get snow chains and then we couldn't put them on and waited for help for 2 hours (until some angels WITHOUT GLOVES helped us and I think of them regularly and hope they have the most happy lives) and we cried in Hailey's car because it was so stressful and unfunny but now it's one of my favorite stories to relive. Like my whole move to CA in general. Or a snowstorm the one day I go hiking in Big Bear. Or today being surprised at my job that I'll be working with adolescent boys, not girls. Every expectation I've had in 2016 seems to have come crashing down. At some point I gotta throw up my hands and laugh.
