near finished this book;

and i can barely resist the urge to headcannon that in an au or something that similarly aged prudent pinsent (Lois's female protagonist) and miss Jane marple (agatha's protagonist) would almost certainly make beautiful squeezes (girlfriends) and fraus (wives) to each other.

Because they both do crime in the early 20th century. Amd they're both meticulously clever women with impeccable taste 💁‍♀️

So, my left, aka bad eye has been hurting and a bit swollen today. Since it was itching, I didn't think about it. Bug bite. But, at closer inspection, I discovered the horror. Pimple. At the place which is the border between eye and eyelid. And it is growing.
