Fairies and similar fae creatures in Skylands can "hear" magic they same way people hear music. So to them, strong spells sound like loud chords, divine magic sounds and feels like warm sun rays, etc
Their bodies emit faint light when emotionally overwhelmed. My Echoes of the Core party has seen this happen with their DMNPC Moofy
Fairies come from small, tight knit clans that are based around certain things like arcane magic for one and healing magic for another
Young fairies go through a rite of passage once they reach adulthood
Fairies have crow minds of grab shiny object instinct. Moofy has a massive collection of shiny trinkets in her academy dorm room
