after what feels like a century of hard work and the effort of many sets of hands, i have finally gotten my worldbuilding document to a point where it can be shared with the world. i've been working on a city called vanmourne since august of 2024 with several of my friends (one being @cheesethearis). it has been an incredibly daunting process and this is a very nerve-wracking experience for me, but since i've never created anything so big and scary before i figured it was worth showing to anyone that might be interested. you can find the google docs link here, and while it is not 100% done for good, it's in a good spot. thank you for your time! nick

traditional clothing ft. the fiwi daughters (+fires other daughter). i really wanted to draw traditional tenalach clothing!!!!! maple belongs to @strawberrypie12 not to me, but the rest is all from my canon universe timeline

ive been thinking about older joli a lot, and her eventually coming to live in the tenalach forest once shes older/snowdrop dies (since jolis a demigod and will ultimately live much much longer than her mother). i think she also floats around the DV whenever fire is there. shes the cool older sister to amber and maple

Gimme more fairy stuff/nf

Fairy wings are semi translucent and react to emotions

Fairies and similar fae creatures in Skylands can "hear" magic they same way people hear music. So to them, strong spells sound like loud chords, divine magic sounds and feels like warm sun rays, etc

Their bodies emit faint light when emotionally overwhelmed. My Echoes of the Core party has seen this happen with their DMNPC Moofy

Fairies come from small, tight knit clans that are based around certain things like arcane magic for one and healing magic for another

Young fairies go through a rite of passage once they reach adulthood

Fairies have crow minds of grab shiny object instinct. Moofy has a massive collection of shiny trinkets in her academy dorm room

The once might and infinite Celestial Serpents were beings of immense power. Their unending coils stretched across all the worlds of reality. Now, they are all but extinct, the decaying corpses leaking their energy into countless worlds, spreading the ideas of their being still despite their deaths long ago. ________ Some designs for my personal worldsetting! There were thirteen species of celestial serpent, one for each of the Thirteen Divine Inspirations of the unreality between stars, known locally as the Obscuraverse. After the Great Sundering War, almost all of them have been wiped out leaving less than a dozen still alive. The Empress Zetsu is the last Azucarog as she killed all her kin, earning her the name "Kinslayer". Celestial serpents have bodies without end and when they die, they do not decay, so their corpses still wrap around reality, bleeding ideas and legends into worlds that have no idea they ever existed.

For the people of Obscuraverse though, the remnants of these beings exist in forgotten places of the world and are worth their weight in gold to extract. Had a ton of fun designing something for my own world and this has been a project I've been poking at for a month and so glad to share it with everyone now that its done <3

Phenexis’s Tools! Gifts from the Omnidentus and Friends

First gift, The Rift Sword: A very…pretty but typical looking two handed great sword. Its got Good balanced weight. And is extraordinarily sharp. Made from as pure metal as could be acquired at time of construction. Imbued with magical properties that allow the extremely sharp blade to cut through time and space itself opening portals to new places. The sword also allows you to pull places into one another. So she can pull her shopfront into a different world/dimension by cutting open a space just big enough for the shop front to fit into. Thus always having an immediate way back home.

Second gift, The Scrying Necklace: A crystalline clear aquamarine/turquoise gem held by a pure silver chain and cap. The jewel is a scrying device that can find almost anything your looking for on a map, works with almost any map but works best with Phens navimap. Swing it above the map and when it locates whats asked of it, it yanks down and pinpoints the location. (Phen has currently only used it to find already used portals to specific locations)

Third Gift, The Navimap: A map that shows the surrounding area(s) in complete accuracy. It magically changes as the land itself does ensuring it is always accurate. You can zoom in and out to see the area in more detail and depth as needed. Will tell you what beings/ creatures and plants are in the area, just not where they are.

GIFTS FROM FRIENDS

First Gift, The Multiversal Camera aka the Funny Bunny Pola Mini!: Taking a picture with this polaroid allows you to travel to that SPECIFIC universe. (Like earth 52 vs earth 45 kinda thing) Traveling without a specific universe in mind will land you in one of the MANY multiverse options. (So you wanted to go to merpeople earth but instead went to goblin earth because you didn’t take a picture in merpeople earth) Phenexis takes a picture with the first friend she makes there so she can return to see them.

Second gift, The Shellphone:

A Video phone made by combining her friends knowledge of magic and technology with her own to create not only a communications device but a whole magic based version of the internet! So long as it can connect to magic, the internet/some form of mechanical or radio telecommunication, or another communications device in semi close range it will work just about any and everywhere!

It takes photos/videos.

Plays music/Audio/basic games/movies

You can store and read texts (like books)

Send “scrolls” (a text)

Write with a holo-pen in your scrolls!

And beam up little interactive holograms of whatever is on your screen by opening it up flat!

Eventually her friends are gifted/make their own variations of these items so they can travel separately but always find one another!

Phenexis’s Island while HUGELY important in her story and in my rps/aus Is NOT A PLACE OUTSIDERS CAN VISIT

if they shipwreck there sure they would end up on the island. BUT they are given a choice to stay FOREVER or leave FOREVER. Either way they are sworn to secrecy or have their memory wiped or die. Those too are choices they can make. (Very few have picked DIE)

So if We rp with phenexis, and you know she comes from an island, never assume you are one of the few outsiders allowed to be on it unless EXPLICITLY stated.

Sure her shop/(most of her)home are TECHNICALLY on the island since they are IN the island but those parts are given a pass so long as no one goes topside or if they do go topside they don’t leave phens house. She has Dominion over those so she can invite whoever she wants in them but if they want to be ON the island they need permission.

HOWEVER

Phenexis DOES have her own private island given to her by the gods for the express purposes of inviting friends and (non islander) family!

Yo! Hey anyone who was interested in the races thing! I finished the first drafts for all of them just need to take a second pass to make sure I collect enough details. Of course, the more secret stuff might end up on my Patreon first so you know. But I still wanted to make sure people here and on Twitter get a chance to see everything too.

It doesn’t help I like to do full body shots of designs and forget to put clothes on my creature designs. The only one that doesn’t count as nude is the IMPs. But they do have different models. So that will be next before any official posting will be up. ^ ^;;; Need to make sure their fashion shows in their race refs as well.

WIP- AXIOSIAN RACES

These are some races from my comic Secrets of Vessurra. Just the rough draft but people seemed to really like the concepts enough to already start making ocs. So I wanted to post these roughs up first before anyone got confused. XD; Cause I don’t post enough about them other than on discord and patron. So enjoy!

There are 5 races on Axios including, EMPs, Dracokans, Elorians, Veildens, and Kilakis. I won’t write their whole thing just yet. Just a taste till I get the drawings done.

EMPs (Enginered Magical Protoforms) are a race of sentient constructs that gained their souls from the magic that crafted them. Bodies made of a special high tech gelatin that holds the magic within. Using plating to help protect their softer form.

Dracokan (Dragon folk) are a mighty race, known for their size and love for fighting. The tallest race and defiantly one of the more intimidating. Dawning large horns, scales, and meaty claws. Able to breath elemental furry and grow armored platting.

Elorian (Light kin) are an angelic race with the ability to harness the powers of sunlight and radiance. Their wings are made of flexible light, able to change its form to suit the bearer’s needs. Helping them soar the skies or defend themselves.

Veilden (Voidlings) are an aquatic race with limbs made of darkness and void. Able to manipulate the veil and even communicate with Shadow-like creatures called Vespers to become their companion or familiar.

Kilaki (Hide Shifters) are an animal like race. Able to shape shift into one animal form suited to their environment or elemental mastery. Typically able to only turn into mammals, some mixed races of kilaki have been known to turn into other animals.
