here's another fanart of my pipistrello deltarune au- dark world pepper! she basically plays the role of gerson in chapter 4 (spoilers, i know,) in that you have to fight her to get one of the shadow crystals except the boss fight is actually mandatory, and she has a goshdarn MORNINGSTAR instead of a hammer. also, during the fight you manage to rip her dress and then she's like 'well i didn't need this anyway' and so ends up looking like this:

and then she's kind of worried because with the dark fountain open, she has complete freedom and isn't stuck inside pippit's yoyo, and if the fountain gets sealed, she'll return to that form so will do everything in her power to prevent that from happening.

also, psst, don't tell anyone, but she's actually mildly based off of evil marie from the hit arcade game carnevil. in fact, quite a lot of pipistrello x deltarune is based on that as well as the other arcade game about a spooky funfair, haunted museum 2- frightfearland. mainly because the dark world is located inside a storage room in the arcade of plaza roquefort that just so happens to have those 2 games, which, according to don mauretti, 'should've been scrapped years ago because all this time i knew they both contained dark fountains'. also don was coincidentally in there when the fountain formed, so he ends up joining your party as a sort of susie-type.
