Another Plance Mermaid/Pirate AU!! :D  Pidge likes to hold onto Lance since he’s such a fast swimmer, and the two will explore the reef together :D

Sjkdkjdkj its so nice to draw plance again; its been awhile!! School’s been really hard lately, but the quarter is almost over!! Im looking forward to having more free timeeee

Hella yes!!!

Okay so hear me out:

Prince Lotor is Princess Buttercup.

He’s going to be wed to Sendak and then killed to start a war with the country Garrison.

When he was a kid he was in love with a farmhand who went by Katie.

Lotor gets kidnapped by Slav, Lance, and Hunk.

And then the Dread Pirate Pidge comes to save him.

She bests Lance in a sword fight, Hunk in hand to hand, and kills Slav.

And ofc there’s the whole “As you wish” bc Lotor pushes the Dread Pirate Pidge down a freakin hill.

But she’s tortured on Sendak’s order so Lance and Hunk take her to a witch (Allura) who is none other than Matt Holt’s wife.

They even get two palace guards (Shiro & Keith) on their side.

And have to rescue Prince Lotor and then ride off happily into the distance!!!!!

Plance AU Week 2018 - Lore

Okey dokey soooo I am going out of order, because I’m only doing a couple of the prompts, and i also need to post them all before school starts back up later this week XP  Sorry if there’s any confusion!!

So this is a mermaid!Lance/pirate!Pidge AU, where Pidge is the daughter of an extremely well-known and feared captain (I can’t take Sam seriously as a spooky pirate, but lets just pretend hahaha!!)  

A pirates’ biggest fear are merpeople, who are rumored to lure the sailors to their deaths with beautiful and tempting songs.  One day while Pidge is rowing out to the ship from shore, something bumps her boat.  Something big.  

Pidge is no stranger to big fish in the ocean, since she studies ocean life almost as much as she studies the stars, but something about the way this iridescent blue tail whipped around in the water at record speed told Pidge that this was no fish.... it was a creature...

Suddenly a scaly (but undeniably attractive) face popped above the water, startling Pidge so much that she jumped back and fell over the side of her rickety boat.  As she flailed around in the water, never having learned how to swim, she was sure that this was the end for her. “Getting eaten by a mystical sea creature...?  Hmm, I guess that’s a pretty interesting way to go...”  

But before she could finish her thoughts, she felt herself being launched upward and plopped back into her boat, and the mercreature disappeared back into the deep blue water....

Day after day, Pidge would go out in her canoe thing and wait around, hoping the creature would show up again.  She was pretty sure he was a merman, but she couldn’t quite tell...  If he was a merman, she figured he couldn’t be as dangerous as the stories had said.  After all, he could have let her drown out there...

 One day finally, she recognized the lulling blue tail gliding against the surface of the water, and shot up in her seat.  She called out to him until once again his head emerged from the water, much more cautiously this time, and Pidge new without a doubt that a merman had saved her life

The two proceeded to meet every day, learning about each other’s worlds, talking about their dreams, and growing closer as friends (and maybe more)  They end up having this forbidden love, reverse-little-mermaid style, and sjdkdk I’ve run out of things to say hahaha!  

I’m in no way a writer but I thought I’d just give a little extra context/backstory, since it’s AU week :D  You guys are totally free to make your own writings for this AU!
