How do you feel about pirating? Is it any different depending on the media? (Movies, series, books, comic books etc) Does it being okay depend on some other factor? (Like are the creators famous or not)

I....hm. Well, pirating is illegal, so I won't, in writing, tell you to do it.

I think that, morally, stealing from people who depend on their content to make ends meet is not okay. Also, taking credit for content created by like...fandom people, people who make things for free, etc, isn't okay. I also don't think it's okay to like...make money off of stealing from others.

But I think that the morality of the creator is something to think about as well as their net worth. As a completely random and not at all poignant example, JK Rowling is a piece of shit and also a billionaire. So, I've heard of people downloading illegal copies of Harry Potter films/books and like...I would never, of course. But I'm not judging people at all for doing something like that. Fuck JKR, don't give her your money.

Just remember that it's illegal.

hello again, alabama anon here. I just love that feeling when your parents are yelling at your older brother. Especially when what he did is so minuscule compared to the shit you’re worried they’ll yell at you about. It’s especially nice when they’re threatening to kick him out as soon as they can. New, but also not really new, worry unlocked. I don’t think they’d try to kick me out for liking girls, but who knows. I probably don’t really know them as well as I think I do. I mean, they don’t know a lot about me and they probably think they know everything. I guess at this point it isn’t really yelling, but it’ll probably get there pretty soon.

I’m, like, 99% sure my brother isn’t gay, or queer in any way. I wonder if this would still happen if he felt the added pressure of being gay. I feel like I have to be perfect so they don’t kick me out, or hit me, or do something rash when they figure out I like girls. As I’ve previously said, I don’t really think that they would do anything like hit me, but it’s always a worry. I sort of figure it is for most queer kids. Especially ones surrounded by not so accepting people. Have you got any sort of experience with this sort of thing? i don’t know when I would tell them while living in their house. I probably won’t tell them while I live here, just to be safe. I think I’ll wait until I move away for college and maybe I’ll tell them then. I want to go someplace far away. Somewhere good, like Duke, maybe. My neighbor went to Duke, so there is some hope for me. As usual, I’m sorry for the all ranting. I’ve just don’t know who else to talk to about this stuff.

I definitely understand where you're coming from. Though I didn't really figure out I was queer until college, when I came out to my dad, I was SO nervous about his reaction because he's very conservative. (Turns out, he was fine with it. My mom, not so much.)

I think waiting to tell them could be a smart idea. If you feel like you can wait (like mental health-wise), and your safety might be an issue, then safety could come first. Unfortunately, that's the reality for a lot of people, and it shouldn't be that way, but until you're able to tell them, you're more than welcome to rant to me <3

Duke is a great school. I think college is also a great place to find a more-accepting support system in a group of people who has more open minds.

I'm sorry your parents are making you feel worried like this. I'm sending you love!

First of all, could you get iron supplements at the pharmacy? They''re over the counter here...maybe they won't help as much as prescription, but something so you don't feel awful all the time.

Okay, religion:

I honestly don't know what I believe. BUT I think the thing about religion is, I don't think it matters if you believe fully. If you find comfort in religion, you should go to church/synagogue/temple/whatever! If you don't find comfort in it, don't go! You don't always have to be devout to benefit from religion. But if you're not benefitting from it, then take a step back and think about what you need.

Anxiety: not stupid. not at all. you're allowed to be nervous about getting in trouble! Have you talked to your friends about this?

Friends: honestly, I completely understand. Just because your friends aren't acting the way they're acting to be malicious, it doesn't mean that it's not hurtful. It sucks to not be anyone's first choice. I've been there so many times, and it HURTS.

You're allowed to be upset and you're allowed to feel hurt. You're also allowed to, therefore, not treat those friends like they're your first choice. Sure, you can spend time with them, but also put energy into finding someone to gives you as much love as you give them.

THIS IS A HEADCANON WITH THINGS I EXPERIENCE DONT MURDER ME

-Firstly, she has a lot of social issues. From going back to her ex who hurt her a lot to being bad at knowing what options people would pick in s2e4.

-STIMMING! You can see her do a lot of little bounces (and, obviously her dancing) which just give me the idea as well

-Not having a filter. For example, when she and Bowie were discussing Caleb and she spoke about him in a swimming challenge.

-Sensory issues. This might be a stretch but in the pole challenge, she's very irritated at being hungry, which also happens to me mainly because of the feeling of being hungry so I'd like to imagine it's the same for her

I could honestly rant more but for now that's all I've got :3
