Beckett passed on today. Poor guy had been suffering and I hated it for him, so in a way it has been a relief for both of us. At just over 2.5 years you had a good life and I tried to do my best for you until the very end. Swim in peace little buddy, your fabulous purple and pink little self will be missed.

My husband finally finished my tank shelf! This project has been a long time in the making, ever since I bought an industrial metal “utility” shelf that immediately bowed under 5 gallons of weight once we moved the half full 10 gallon onto it. I decided that was a no go so that shelf got moved to the garage for boxes out there. I love my much sturdier shelf! Now I will get to see both my boys all the time! 😁 The end game for this is to get my 5 gallon back up and running on that top shelf next to Frisk, and eventually we're going to close in that bottom shelf and put doors on it. I’m excited. 😁

He's been on another fin biting spree. 😒 They were looking so good too, little goober. Maybe I'll thaw some bloodworms and everyone can have a treat this afternoon. 😊

Meet the crew: Beckett. He’s about two years old and has been a compulsive fin biter his whole life. 😒 Other than that he is very chill and spends most of his time cruising around his tank. He also doesn’t like thawed out bloodworms? Such a prima donna. 😆

Had to move Beckett to my little temp tank, he's been doing pretty poorly lately and has bloated up quite a bit. I'm hoping the smaller tank will make things easier on him because he won't have to work so hard to get to the top to eat and get some air. Poor guy, I'm thinking he won't be around much longer. 😞
