Here is my last post of the 7/7 Facebook Challenge. This image is from a book I illustrated called "No Pirates Allowed" written by "Rhonda Growler Green" & published by Sleeping Bear Press. A story about Pirate Pete who is on a hunt for buried treasure and thinks it's buried in the Library. With a little help from Library Lou, Pete discovers that the real treasure was books and the ability to read. In this painting his unhappy parrot friend Igor is surrounded by foes as Pirate Pete practicing his reading outside the Library on the cliff. Today I am nominating my friend Wouter Tulp an amazingly versatile and talented artist from The Netherlands. Wouter is one of those rare artist that can draw or paint anything in any media realistic or distorted in extreme caricature. I admire his work and talent greatly and look forward to his 7 day posts.
