Your internet humans are super cool and it makes me think of pirating websites or websites that have shows not normally accessible due to subscriptions, regional broadcasts, etc. I feel like they'd different to Internet Archive in that they are preserving stuff and giving people the tools to do so but they're very secretive, they're only talked about through messages and word of mouth. There's the unspoken rule to not snitch and any of them can be taken down suddenly.

I've talked about the 'Dark' Web before, and yeah, those pirating websites are kinda part of that (though not entirely). If they're found out, these sites have to quickly take down their shop, change names, and hide from the cops again.

Most of the time 'Snitches' are just well meaning people trying to share information on where to find them. But often time they get overhead by the 'cops' and then you can't find them again. They have ads you wouldn't see anywhere else to be able to pay the bills.

Internet Archive, meanwhile, is fighting for the right to preserve these works of art in a digital medium, and fighting to do so legally. Yet, they've lost multiple court cases on the matter to companies who were unhappy their stuff was being archived & rented out. IA is very tired.

Internet Archive is more like a library! They rent out games for multiple consoles, movies, magazines and books too lol. Protect your libraries kids!

Going back to a classic site (that I won't name even though most probably already know it) after using Bato for so long and I feel I'm starving

Nobody knows how to format panels. The having to tap each panel to get to the next and it's always oddly chopped in half with dialogue all fucked up. I'm suffering. These are the trenches from which I came, but goddamn I was spoiled by Bato and returning to this site reminds me how truly wonderful bato was.
