pray tell, what is Aristaios to you? I've been musing a lot about him lately

He is the cause of the food on my table. He is the bringer of relief from harsh weather. He is all the "little," "ordinary" things that make my life wonderful. He is a father figure who cares so deeply about me, his son, and he is a person who knows repentance and knows it well.

He is the deity that helps me through normal days, normal struggles. He is so gentle and kind and loving. All he wants is for me to pave my way and walk my own path.

uh well i don’t have a whole lot of uncommon fun facts off the top of my head. but one of my favorite fun facts about an underappreciated emperor is that valentinian the first supposedly died when he raged so hard at someone that he burst a blood vessel yelling at them

Has Christianity/Catholicism affected your practice or your views about your practice at all?

I have answered 17 already I answered a lot today oops. I would like to say no but I have to assume there’s cultural Christianity going on and it probably has unknowingly? I have zero memory of going to church as a child and have truly never given two figs about the meaning of Easter or Christmas. It wasn’t a focus in my household. In fact, if anything I envy people who have seriously celebrated religious holidays before because they do have some basis of what these events can look like as a gathering.
