As the child of a mother born on the Leap Year, I feel uniquely qualified to write about Shiro

being the Pisces that he is, he needs someone or something to save. all the time. total knight in shining armor complex. if he isn't serving some sort of greater cause (typically multiple causes simultaneously) he feels restless and stagnated. NEEDS to be needed, even if he burns himself out in doing so

similarly, he doesn't like to have people worry about him. sort of stonewalls when it comes to letting other people help him. it's an old habit that ends up hindering him a lot

fear of failure, more specific fear of letting people down. whether it be family, friends, colleagues, superiors- doesn't matter. if he feels like he isn't reaching his potential, it's easy for him to feel like he's worthless

loves to laugh, appreciates a biting sense of humor. fascinated by people who seem like they don't take anything seriously

also frustrated by them :)

cares deeply, cares so much. wishes that he didn't but alas :/

STRONG code of ethics which acts as his guiding light through times of trouble. but if he ever feels like his values aren't being valued or respected on a systemic level (e.g., corruption within an organization) it knocks the wind out of his sails. makes him feel complicit and alone

when he's in a slump/depressive episode, he needs something outside of himself to drag him out of it. has had great success with emotional support animals since he's been discharged as a paladin.

people-oriented, enjoys helping and teaching others, takes it as a point of pride when he can help someone reach a breakthrough in their education.

has a black thumb when it comes to plants but appreciates people who have a knack for growing them, along with the outdoors generally

needs routine in order to cope

does his best work in the morning. wakes up early, goes for a run, comes back to change clothes/shower, and starts on work.

good at reading the room and assessing what people need. has a nose for disingenuousness.

if you want to get on his good side, don't kiss up to him. treat him respectfully and be genuine. the whole black lion/champion thing is something he doesn't want to be put on a pedestal for
