Somehow I finally felt motivated enough to describe a bit of lore regarding my version of "Kirby's species".

A new ref for my most neglected OC, Blood Knight. I did change the color of her eyes to be brighter and visible underneath her mask, other than that she is the same as before in terms of design.

In your recent post, you mentioned that Garlude is looking for Melem’s soul alongside Jecra's. How would everyone react to Kirby’s soul matter being from Melem's soul?

Garlude She was worried about Melem's soul for a long time given the fact that it had been separated from her mind. Seeing that it's not only in good shape, but also has become such an accomplished fighter just makes her beam with joy. The search has concludes in a good way!

Morpho Knight They have taken note of this fact earlier than anyone else and watched over the child closely as a result. Too bad their first proper encounter was tainted by the presence of the two halves of Elfilis, who they swore to murder to death.

Galacta Knight That Kirby was his child was surprising enough to him, but that he actually found Melem’s soul back was a big relief to him as well! A part of his old friend gets to live on within Kirby almost overshadows his sadness when it comes to realizing that he missed out on raising him.

Meta Knight Finding out that Kirby is the soul of Galaxia's sword spirit most certainly caught him off-guard. Part of him questioned whether he is supposed to pass the blade on to Kirby, yet Galaxia assured him that as long as he lives he'll remain her most suitable wielder.

Kirby Kirby himself doesn't know what to make of this information. In the end it doesn't change much for him. Thinking of Melem makes him feel fuzzy inside, though, something most Soul Matterborn experience that were born from the souls of the dead.

Xandos When he gave Melem’s soul to Galacta Knight for safekeeping he did not expect this to happen. Part of him feels betrayed by Galacta Knight, yet in the end seeing that part of his sister can get to live on outside of the confinement of a sword does warm his heart just a little bit.

Blood Knight Since Kirby is a mix between both of her old crushes Blood Knight has some more complicated feelings when it comes to Kirby. It does feel bitter that she's excluded, yet ultimately this is a positive conclusion in her mind. The sinister past has been left behind and given light to a jolly pink puffball.

Galaxia/Phantom Melem She recognized her soul right away, yet didn't notify Meta Knight about this until way later. She explicitly asked Meta Knight to hand her to Kirby during KATAM to confirm her suspicions and test if he'd notice himself. Galaxia is relieved to see that this part of herself which she willingly gave up on turned out to live on happily.

Alright, these were the most notable ones I could think of! Honestly, I am surprised this obscure lore detail I buried somewhere caught the attention of two separate people. Incredible!

Xandos' sister who was the one in charge of the enchantments of the Master Sword. She willingly transferred her own consciousness into the sword to keep its powers safe after a tragic accident took the life of the swords smith, her best friend Garlude. From within the sword she can still communicate with those who wield it, giving them advice wherever she can, however she is awfully quiet when asked about the past.

Dutch works for Clan Eon-Eon, which consists of only Dream Matterborn except for himself.

I dug deeper into the garbage disposal on my phone and found some more abandoned projects and junk alike.

A reference for my OC Xandos I started featuring Meta Knight at various ages. I did go a little overboard here.

This was some very early concept art for Pitchion. I struggled a lot to figure out a design I liked... At first I wanted to give him bat wings, but somehow convinced myself he looks too much like Batman. Like... come on, two things based on bats look alike go figure

Another abandoned comic that would have shown the moment in which Melem bound her consciousness to Galaxia. Here we only get to see how Chiro tried to stop her using their possession ability. Since they couldn't talk they were unable to communicate that to Galacta Knight and Pitchion. This would also have shown a negative Dark Matter becoming a positive Dark Matter.
