How it all falls down...
A key aspect to this was that, HE WAS WARNED! No table... no knights of the round table and no rebellion. He was told by Celestine(Merlyn) about the round table but unaware of it's significance... since it was burned ashes before it could be. And Arthur was aware that it may possibly destroy his destiny to be the leader of the GSA, with his choice that day... allowed it to happen.
In Arthur's defense he didn't know it would also destroy everyone's original destinies... Kirby still managed to be born and Nightmare was defeated, nothing to worry about right... Wrong! What better way to bring down the GSA, than to show everyone what they missed out on because of their supposed "paragon of a leader" robbing them of their fates. Misery loves company, and Morgan just wanted to bring everyone it on the ride...Y'know similair to how he-
ROBBED HER POSITION AS LEADER!
It's a copy of the prophecy, but... She's showing just enough to get everyone in the GSA to ready their pitchforks. And Arthur poor devil, has fallen into her trap... all she had to do is have him think it is and everyone believed it.
If anyone's wondering what parts she's omitting, it's the part where "It was suppose to be Arthur at the helm of the rebellion and him with Guinevere...", Not Nonsurat, whoopsie!
Note that even the original prophecy is a snippet, but not the whole futures. It doesn't show where they'll all ultimately end up. Arthur knows this, and of course he can explain this but he can't after that whole little reveal, it'll just seem like a lie or an excuse to save himself. (Morgan knew this too but with held this to prevent Arthur from digging himself out of all this...)
At this point Nonsurat is ready to strangle Arthur to death. While Morgan is just in the background enjoying the fine mess she's made, thriving on the chaos... Backed into the corner Arthur has to reveal everything: being lost in Hades, his fight & deal with Morpho... but more importantly, his connection to Merlyn.

This is the water-down version of how I plan to write this... At this point a lot of others secrets were spilled to get to this point. Which is why all niceties have been thrown out the window! I tried taking some aspects of the original Arthurian legend, while still putting my own spin on it.
I personally think Queen Guinevere gets too much flack for the downfall of Camelot, and it takes two to tango (Lancelot). And King Arthur himself was warned of this and still chose to marry Guinevere. Along with sinking that ship full of baby's causing Mordred to comeback for revenge and of course Morgan Le Fay who also wanted revenge. I didn't want her (my version of Guinevere) to be put in that box...
Which is why I've written Nonsurat & Arthur in this way, in the grand scheme of things they're both acting out of love. Fundamentally they're both emotionally fueled and Morgan's just taking full advantage of this.
At least that's what I was trying to portray during their argument.
And while I say that Arthur & Nonsurat are both acting out of love; their is a key difference to them... I'm not sure if I ever mentioned this before but Nonsurat & Guinevere are meant to mirror Arthur & Celestine.
Everyone in the story gets consequences for their actions whether they be good or bad. The main aspect to the fall of the GSA is it's the result of Arthur's choices. The fact Arthur was a villainous right hand of Uther is a key part of his character. He's been a puppet for years and he has been trying to redeem himself and reclaim those years.
That's why he does not regret any of his choices even if it leads to his downfall, because they were his. While the general public & his peers have forgiven him during his time with Merlyn, and pretty much forgotten this by the time he took in Meta Knight.
But the past does not forget... Morgan & Nonsurat did not forget!
Which is why I made them the main catalysts to the GSA's downfall, both of their actions are based on their past bias of him. And in a sense the final test for Arthur, the two of them are alternate versions of what he could’ve been, shadows of his past. They're both expecting this satisfying reckoning for Arthur, but it's also punishing to them as well. They're only seeing the worse in him and they're looking for a man who no longer exists.

I've been working on my broken down lab top since September; cracked internal screen & half the time my files would crash... It's so nice to have a working lab top again!
I finally got all my programs redownloaded! Anyways, I just wanted to share with you guys and to celebrate by giving this lore drop.~

But if you'd like to go ahead, here's a rundown/watered-down version of what you need to know:
In the KBASW AU, the concept of Multiverses/Alternate timelines exists. The "game-verse," is seen as the true timeline is the canon lore. In (KBASW) this true timeline (game-verse), only occurs after the "disappearance of Merlyn," the rebellion starts. The knights of the Round Table are established to take down Uther, and of course, Arthur is put in charge of the GSA (equivalent to the rightful king of England), which leads the GSA to follow the (Kirby-version) "Arthurian legends", eventually leading to Kirby landing in Dreamland. Basically, Kirby's Dream Land (1992) happens following the game lore yada-yada... but not in the KBASW AU.
In the anime, Kirby's arrival in Dreamland happens far too early (as Meta Knight stated in the Kracko "A Dark & Stormy Knight episode), it's a major plotline in the series. So, KBASW AU is one of these divergent timelines, where the "anime" timeline occurs: if the creation of the Round Table is not fulfilled/something went wrong. Kirby's early arrival in Dreamland is a byproduct of this.
So how did it happen in this AU, well...
In KBASW, Guinevere is the one who started the original rebellion and started "the Knights of the Round Table". In the original prophecy, Guinevere was supposed to start the rebellion with Arthur, but in this timeline, she attempts to start it with someone else.... as for Arthur
In this timeline, Guinevere was caught by Uther, and the destruction of the Round Table happened... ending Guinevere.
And Uther wasn't just trying to send a message by naming Arthur his successor that day ... This was the very thing he did... on the day Sir Orpheus' body was found on the temple turned to ash, he named himself the indisputable leader of the GSA.
Basically, he's doing the same thing... but with Arthur, and Arthur was at the peak of his career (thanks to Celestine). He was the hero of the realm; no one was going to focus on Guinevere's brutal execution, but the exciting promotion for everyone's favorite knight, HOORAY!
And you can tell Uther was at the height of his power; the general public seemed to adore him. He's pretty much patting himself on the back while poor Arthur is very uncomfortable with the whole thing... But sadly, it worked; everyone pretty much followed this narrative like sheep. And scared the last supporters of the "Round Table," making it impossible for Nonsurat to pick up the pieces.
You can also see where Morgan and Nonsurat watch from afar as Arthur is named Uther's heir. Their friendship thrived on hating Arthur. Though you can also see the cracks in it as well... but they were close back in the day for a reason...
Of course, there's more to the story, but that's another day... right now we're looking in Nonsurat's eyes: Arthur was still "Uther's Golden Boy," the Wicked Right Hand of the Sovereign... Uther's most loyal soldier. And thanks to him, ending Uther's reign and hopes for a better future are all just pipe dreams now... it has all literally gone up in smoke. And this man (Arthur) was just thriving on her ashes!
Unbeknownst to Nonsurat, he and Arthur were so much alike... On that day, Arthur had someone to protect that day too. These two were walking the same path this entire time without knowing...
But sadly, every choice has its consequences!

Side Notes: If anyone wonders how her soul wound up in Galaxia, her ashes were used to create the sword. And her design was inspired by Fleurina (Kirby and the Forgotten Land) and the swan costumes from Swan Lake.
If you're not familiar with the tale (I'll count the Barbie Movies & the Swan Princess Movie), the basic rundown:
Odette was cursed to be a swan, but she becomes human at night (along with a few other maidens). While out hunting, Prince Siegfried finds her in human form, and they fall in love instantly. He is told to break the curse; he must make a vow of everlasting love. Siegfried plans to do this on the night of a party where he is to choose a princess to be his wife. These plans are thwarted by the evil warlock Rothbart, who was the one to curse Odette! He comes in disguise with his daughter Odile... masquerading as Odette, a.k.a the black swan. And thinking she's Odette, he declares his love to the wrong person!
And a fun fact, traditionally, the roles of the white swan & the black swan are played by the same ballerina.
And as a result, the real Odette is now doomed to be a swan for the rest of her life. But in her case, she's doomed to be a sword for the rest of her life, Galaxia. There are different endings, a happy (Barbie/ Swan Princess movie) & a tragic one (OG), his yada-yada... but the main thing I wanted to bring up...Celestine, is the Black Swan of Gwen's story.
While they are very similar, Guinevere and Celestine have a key difference from each other...Gwen was a more serious, very dedicated person to her cause, with a strong sense of justice. Like Celestine, she was unwilling to accept the tyranny of Sir Uther and decided to rebel...
So you can understand why Arthur would fall for her in another timeline, but... unlike the prince from Swan Lake, Arthur very willingly chooses Celestine, the black swan.
But still, Gwen's destiny was stolen... and as we all know from Arthurian legend: King Arthur & Queen Guinevere lived happily ever after-Oh wait... THEY DON'T! Hmm, clearly there's something more to this story, after all the GSA disappears for a reason in the true timeline...maybe she dodged a bullet... Guinevere's plot line isn't over yet...
I got plans, can't reveal it yet, but all I can say is this...
EVIL SIR ARTHUR STILL EXISTS WITHIN THE STORY BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!
At first, I was really unsure who I should handle in the story, but now I feel really confident in where I'm taking her story, and I'm really glad I kept Gwen. I'll be listing her character as Dame Guinevere, if you guys want to find a post about her in the future.
And for my long-time fans in the original draft, Arthur was supposed to be the "surprise villain," and it was very hard for me to let go of that idea... well, he's still here somewhere~ But don't worry, our Wart is an all-around good bean.
