im so sick of ppl acting like like Trinity has a petty feud with Langdon.

Sure he was condescending and did doubt her, and she obviously didn't like him because of that. But the thing is she found out he was talking drugs from the hospital and that's what caused her to completely distrust him. Like he was putting patients lives on the line for his addiction and that shouldn't be taken lightly.

You can say she was looking for reasons not to like him, even though she was just noticing inconstancies, but I'd argue putting people's lives on the line bc you can't admit you have an Addiction is a pretty good reason to hate someone.

And obviously Langdon is trying to recover, but in the way he talks about it, he still blames Santos for turning him in. Like a part of him still feels like he could have recovered on his own. He understood he's an Addict but still believes that that being reported ruined his life and his opportunities.

Which it did a little, but also, things could have been a lot worse. Stealing medicine is endangerment, he could have lost his medical license for that, he could be completely jobless. Sure hes getting divorced, sure he's coming back to an er that might not like him anymore, sure he isn't getting that promotion(?) they talked about in season 1, but he still has opportunity.

If this was on his record, he wouldn't be able to do much at all, infact there a chance he'd be in prison. But it's not, he could very well just get a job elsewhere.

He didn't suffer nearly as much as he could have because of Robby. He didn't face the consequences of his actions to the fullest.

And imagine what that looks like in santos eyes, he was protected from the consequences of his actions. In her eyes, she became a pariah for trying to hold him accountable. And when he comes back, he acts like she was wrong for saying anything.

Especially for a victim of grooming and childhood sexual abuse, where it seems her groomer wasn't held accountable, it would hit extra hard. This is another man in a position of power getting away because of that power, where she suffers more because of his actions than he does.

I just feel so fucking sad because of the pitt fandom and recent interviews with the cast and how their words are often taken out of context or twisted. For example i saw a clip earlier today of someone asking isa "how would you dignose dr robby" or something like that and she jokingly said "how much time do you have? well... A bit misogynistic..." and the clip cuts off. And it just pissed me off soooo much because I'm genuinely interested in what else she had to say but the op didn't even link the full video. Like they cut it right there as if to say "see? See?! even his female co-stars hate him" as engagement bait or to prove a point or something idk. Not to mention people being upset over javadi leaving and making jokes (in poor taste imo) about "which woc is gonna be next". it just makes me feel like literally everyone including the cast hates robby and noah. and like i understand that getting so upset over a character and a man that i don't know AT ALL is ridiculous, but. I'm sad, lol. sorry idk where i'm going with this

no, the cast do not hate noah. we have more than enough evidence from them literally talking about him to know they respect and like him. they don't hate robby. they can have opinions on robby as everyone does but that doesn't mean they hate him. very often interviews or clips of interviews are snipped out of context. it's to give dramatic emphasis and illusions of 'woke' or 'feminism' and also clickbait. when in actual fact you'll find the video or the article and go 'oh! that's taken out of context massively!' what a bunch of hypocritical assholes?

you need to start blocking people. you're not curating your platform. if you're seeing hateful tweets towards the cast, the characters, then you need to use that button, mute words, mute usernames, urls. i rarely see discourse anymore. i've blocked it all the best i can. i surround myself with people who love robby as a complicated and nuanced character and people who like/love noah and understand he's a human being just like everyone else who's trying their best.

a final note, the show isn't defined by a bunch of anonymous people on twitter or tiktok or tumblr or instagram. it's critically acclaimed and nominated for prestige awards because it's doing the right thing - it's telling the award winning stories. the mental health, the addiction, the biases, the nuance. that's what matters. not a bunch of hypocrites with usernames and pfps connected to the pitt of a show they claim to love who want to make out it's 'trash.' pls be forreal. they're nothing at the end of the day and the show isn't for them. it's for healthcare workers.

This whole Noah Wyle hate campaign stuff is feeling veeeery much similar to the way neurotypical people treat autistic people who don't emotionally respond the way they expect or anticipate.

Yes the guy doesn't seem to have made many friends on sets and jobs. You know what he has done? Hyperfixated on ways to help the medical community and actors through strikes, the pandemic and has learned an incredible amount about medicine and even owns a company that produces fake blood for film sets and dedicates his time to promoting the struggles faced by people who work in healthcare.

I'd bet you dollars to donuts he's just an autistic bro with his special interests and his job and quiet home life and he doesn't understand what people are yelling about half the time and doesn't care to concern himself with it.

Yes one of the actors from the show isn't returning but that reflects the actual struggles of people to cope in the ED.

Dude EVERYONE on that show struggles. In fact the whole place is held together by the most capable women of colour, without whom the ED could not run. Robi himself is falling apart all season. Mohan leaving might be the most same and healthy thing for her to do because the healthcare system tends to chew people up and spit them out, it's to show how we lose good people because the work environment doesn't support workers.

it is not lost on me that the only canon couples we have are robby with two women of color (dr collins and noelle) and also garsantos and the love those ships get compared to like hucklerobby, rabbot, kingdon, etc. is staggering.

all love to dr park and the fics are entertaining but i don’t think he’d get the same treatment if he wasn’t white

We don't see Robby having any men, and definitely not white men, as "enemies" he assigned himself for himself, but a second a woman of color is not doing what he sees best (Gloria, Samira, Baran) he humiliates her in front of people and do anything he can that others would support him

So stop saying he's not misogynistic or racist or that Dr. Al-Hashimi is the devil to try and use AI cause she looks over the ways to try and make doctors' under her command lifes easier and not harder like him (p.s. for piss poor reading comprehension: I'm not saying the AI is ok, but we don't see Robby making anyone's life easier by giving some good advice on time management and life and work balance cause he's trying to make them give all of themselves and kill themselves in that work like he did)
