Really? Hm, well that’s not one I’ve encountered yet -- and I’ve encountered some odd ones -- but anything can be fetishized, so... But if that’s Brittany’s (The Sim is Brittany Wendland, the social townie; she’s been married-in in that neighborhood) fetish, then she has a fear of her husband being sprayed, so I guess she wants to have some fun with other people. Including one of her apartment neighbors... ;)

Well, I think she was sprayed, herself, when she was non-playable when I was playing one of the other households in her apartment building. So, I guess she wanted to share the experience. And I suppose she must’ve liked the experience because she’s BFFs with three of the people she wanted to be sprayed and friends with the other one...except that she fears her husband being sprayed, so...? *shrug*

Right? :) Unfortunately, she couldn’t fill any of those wants because during the time that she had them (They rolled away the next day and never came back), there wasn’t a skunk on the lot. But it was funny while it lasted! :D

But yeah, I know. In fact, when I was a kid, my mother used to use my shed hair to make her own hair rats for beehives and puffy chignons and whatnot. We had more or less the same color hair, but I had/have tons more hair than she has because my brothers and I got the hairball gene from our father, who had a luxuriously full head of hair his entire life. So she’d harvest hair from my hairbrushes and stuff. When I’d do a beehive, though, I used all my own hair because I had plenty. Probably not quite enough to do cantaloupe-on-my-head, though. :) But maybe... Maybe I should try it, just to see. I can recruit hubby to help. He loves messing with my hair, like he’s a 12-year-old girl at a sleepover or something, probably a remnant of growing up with and having to care for two younger sisters.
In any event, that hair’ll be really good for retro-Strangetown. Otherwise, I’m not sure a giant beehive will fit in really well. But with my weird game, who knows? :)

Hello ! I'm kinda embarrassed to bother you with that, but can you explain how to install the custom post effects ? I don't get what the difference between the two versions is, and apart from pasting the cheats in the userstartupcheat and the two files in the downloads folder, I'm pretty sure there are things that can be done, but I don't understand the readme doc. Thank you and sorry for the bother <3
Don’t be embarrassed, it’s not really easy to use right out of the box. @esotheria-sims wrote up a great introduction to it HERE with some good additional links to read so that is a good place to start.
AO stands for Ambient Occlusion and the purpose of using AO in 3D is to achieve the effect of darkening the edges of objects in a scene, especially in corners and where one object intersects another. It’s not an effect that happens in nature, but 3D artists use it often to fake depth and enhance shadows. There are two versions available with this mod: SSAO (Screen Space Ambient Occlusion) and HBAO (Horizon-Based Ambient Occlusion). Generally, SSAO is a less accurate but faster way of achieving the shadowed look, while HBAO is more natural and correct but might be a bit more stressful on your system. Pick which one you want to use but ONLY choose one. I’ve tried them both and prefer HBAO :)
TLDR; SSAO = faster, not as real. HBAO = more realistic, but usually more intensive.

I don’t think you need to have anything in userstartupcheats for this one, the mod can be accessed by just typing “e” in the cheat box after entering the game. Duh, sorry, I totally forgot that you needed to paste text into the userstartup file to make it work. Ignore that, rofl.
There is more stuff you can do with it in SimPE to turn effects on or off, and I could have sworn that @esotheria-sims wrote about that too at some point…but I can add more about it sometime soon if I am totally wrong about that!

Completely bang on, she is Dyslexic but his lack of knowledge in the subject is quite common.
Specific learning disabilities were not recognised properly in Britain until 1987 and so I applied that to the story a bit an assume that Daniel’s education would be almost over by the time Dyslexia is considered a problem that people need help with.

Me too! They get along really well and roll a lot of wants to interact, which is nice. They’re really similar kids in a lot of ways and I feel like they ‘get’ each other, even if they don’t always show it.

I do like Tank & Angela together though. And Tank's sad face here makes me feel a little bad for him...
I will fully admit to not particularly liking Tank and Angela together and being infuriated with their little affair, but I did feel kinda bad for Tank! Poor guys really liked her.
Angela would foresee potential problems later down the line and want to nip it in the bud. How awkward would it be bumping into your ex every Christmas or whatever? Of course, Lilith and Ripp weren’t bothered by the whole thing but they both practically revel in horrible, awkward situations, haha!
