The ending of The Royal Masquerade was so bittersweet in my eyes. I almost wish now that there would have been enough material to run with so there could have been a small side story at some point. I personally would have loved to see a small portion of Fabian’s reign outside of deciding Cyrus’ fate.

So you’re telling me I spent 25 of my diamonds on a dress to impress everyone at the Conclave and seem more regal and fit to be Queen. Yet everyone else turns up in their normal attire!? And I don’t get so much as 1 compliment from someone outside our friend group that isn’t Creepy Cyrus!!????

I was saving up my diamonds for bloodbound, as I don’t want to miss a single fragment of this portrait or have to wear the same outfit throughout the whole book. I also don’t want to keep sacrificing alone time with my Li because most of those options at blocked off by diamonds and Bloodbound is one of my favourites. I want to feel satisfied with my ending in the BB series and not regret every choice I made. Ya feel me?
