Low key Spoilers for Until Dawn so if you don't want that...leave now and come back after you played the game or watched a gameplay on youtube. Warning though the game is rated 18 and have heavy gore and graphic violence in it. So watch/play that at your own risk.

The gang is a bit older in the flashback at the beginning of the story btw. This AU takes place at the Green's family cabin out in the middle of nowhere in the Oregon wilderness.

After taking a game of "Are you scared?" too far. Jane get's pissed off/scared and runs off into the woods...never to be seen again

The gang reunites on the anniversary to honor Jane's memory, but weird stuff starts happening..

In UD the gang thinks a psycho killer is after them for revenge, in this AU the gang slowly start to think it's Redfield, their childhood imaginary friend.

The gang is split between actually believing it's something supernatural or if it's a logical explanation behind it all

Later it turns out that "Redfield" is fake and was just a big elaborate revenge plot by Noah

Feeling abandoned by all of his friends after Jane's disappearance and blames them (but mostly himself) for what happened to her. So why not pretend to be a ghost and scare the living shit out of them. So they could feel the same way Jane felt before she died

Don't worry guys there is something supernatural happening as well.

In UD the monsters killing everyone are Wendigo's, in this AU it's corrupted souls that has consumed too much of "the power"

Later turns out that the one specific "monster" that is killing everyone is actually Jane. Her spirit long corrupted by the power in the woods/mountains

The event of the past is different as well instead of a tragic mining accident in the 50s, it was the cult massacre that happened in the 70s.

Cora is also there getting really annoyed that these kids just didn't just leave forever after what happened to Jane.

Also I take the everyone lives ending because I don't want to imagine any of them dying horrifically...so the everyone lives ending.

I guess everyone except Noah because that dude is doomed no matter it seems like :/ Noah 🤝 Dead sisters and having no happy ending 🤝 Josh
