short walkthrough of my drawing process for this drawing-

Step One: sketch #1 (basic)

the first sketch is when I focus on anatomy, proportions, and general idea of the drawing :]

Step Two: sketch #2

I do two sketches with my drawings, I find it’s a great process to keep me motivated, as the first sketch allows me to get the idea out while not being bogged down by clothing or details

Step Three: base colour

I colour my drawings manually, I have a love-hate relationship with colour drop🤗

Step Four: shading and detail

this is when I add in shading, highlights, and other small details, such as blush, scars, dirt or smudges, blood, etc

also background in this step!

random 2012 AU where Mikey's raised by the Shredder...

he has armor similar to Karai's, he just doesn't like wearing it

and his kusarigama (ik theyre not kusarigama in the drawing but theyre meant to be) look like little cranes!!
