Change up your pizza game with this delicious Pesto Chicken Pizza! The rich and aromatic pesto sauce pairs perfectly with the tender chicken and a medley of fresh toppings. It's a delightful twist on traditional tomato sauce pizza.
Ingredients: 1 pre-made pizza crust. 1/2 cup pesto sauce. 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, shredded. 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved. 1/4 cup sliced black olives. 1/4 cup sliced red onions. Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven up to 450F 230C. Put the pizza crust on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Put a thin layer of pesto sauce on top of the crust. Put the chicken shreds on top of the pesto sauce. Spread the mozzarella cheese out evenly on top of the chicken. On top, put the black olives, red onions, and cherry tomatoes that have been cut in half. Place the pizza in an oven that has already been heated up. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned. Take it out of the oven and let it cool for one minute before cutting it. Add some fresh basil leaves as a garnish. Cut it up and serve it hot.
