So, continuing from my previous post about how the Campers held the city with 40 campers (41 counting Percy himself) I did a breakdown of the campers.
Apollo had Williamsburg Briddge
Demeter had Brooklyn-Batter Tunnel
1/2 Hermes had Manhattan Bridge
1/2 Hermes had Brooklyn Bridge
Aphrodite had Midtown Tunnel
Hephaestus had Holland Tunnel
Athena had 59th Street Bridge
(Dionysus apparently doesn't exist even though there was one kid left there)
Artemis Hunters handle Lincoln Tunnel

So then, lets break this down (ignoring the Hunters right now).
Straight facts, this averages to 5.8 campers a tunnel, so 5/6.
We know Hermes had the most campers, I’m gonna estimate 14 just because... they had enough to be split in half (but that’s already over 1/4 of all the campers present).
Then Aphrodite had the second most, I’m going with 8, otherwise it’s just too many.
Of course the one cabin we have exact numbers in is Dionysus, 1 kid there.
This becomes 23 campers already. We’ve only gotten through three cabins (and three entrances).
In book one of PJO we know the Athena cabin had 12 people, seeing how many campers left, I’ll cut that in half, so 6 left. (29 total).
Then there’s the Hephaestus cabin, who canonically had 4 in book one, and with the way one died... I’d say 2/3 of them left. We’ll be nice and say 3 (32 total).
Demeter I’m going with 4 because there are 8 slots left (36 total).
Canonically Kronos determined the bridge the Apollo cabin was guarding the weakest link, he specifically targeted for that. That leads me to believe there weren’t many campers there, only 3 were named. Well... there had to be at least one more than that since one died/went missing, one was stolen by Percy to heal Annabeth, and the last was leading the search for the dead/missing one. So 4 (40).
Plus of course, Percy himself (41).
Hermes: 14 (split in 2 groups of 7)
Dionysus: 1 (location unknown)
Athena: 6 (but Annabeth was with Percy so 5)
And each one of these groups (excluding Dionysus) guarded a tunnel/bridge.
The Hunters held 30 on their own, and held one entrance, they barely met any resistance. They were mixed in more with the other forces after the first day.
They held the city with these numbers. They held the city for more than a few days alone with these numbers. They had at minimum three titans on the opposing side, a drakon, and the Clazmoniansow.

The Party Ponies showed up at the end of the second day. The Campers alone held the city for a full day, and nearly held it the entire second day.
Even one day is nothing short of a miracle.
The Greeks were clearly incredible fighters, these small numbers should’ve been overrun within an hour, at most, but they held several entrances with hundreds of enemies on their own.
The end of the second day brought with it the Party Ponies, roughly 500 total, they only managed to hold a few blocks and their numbers were cut down very quickly. Again, the demigods made up the bulk of the forces.
There were also a collection of dryads and satyrs that offered some aid, but most only helped in the areas with trees, which the city in general does not have much of.
EDIT: I should also note that by the second day at least 1 was dead (probably more but not confirmed) and everyone but Percy was injured in some manner. On top of that, day one had no Dryad/Satyr aid. They did have the statues, but they aren’t mentioned at the Apollo Bridge.

In conclusion: Greeks man.
