Me: ... My Brain: *currently asleep* Me: ... My Brain: *still asleep* Me: *deep breath* Me: I'm going to make Jirachi a Cleric and you can't stop me! My Brain: -huh, whaa? Me: Too late, it's done!!

And that happened...

As a Cleric, Jirachi has access to the powers of her diety, the Millennium Comet, in this case. I briefly tangled with the idea of having Jirachi be a Warlock, since she is tied directly to the comet, but scrapped it because while Jirachi awakens during the time the comet is nearby, she does not need the power to grant wishes (in the movie, manga is an entirely different matter).

As a Cleric, Jirachi's 9th Level Spells are Meteor Swarm (equivalent of Doom Desire) and Wish, which is from a Miracle Domain homebrew I made (more details later?). Since she's part steel type, she can use heavy armor at no disadvantage to Stealth.

My last DnDXPokemon character for a while. Presenting...Meltan, the Artificer!

Meltan's main problem is that it makes things from metal...and then promptly tries to eat the ones that look most appetizing (which are usually the strongest/most useful ones, unfortunately). It also daydreams about the metal items that the other mythicals have...like Mew's shield and Jirachi's club.

But there are some unique items. A frying pan that doubles as a drying pan (which has the added bonus of creating boiling hot oil as a weapon). A ring that gives strength boosts. A +3 dagger of sneakiness. A wrench that does nothing but looks pretty. And...8 dice of fireball (landing on a 6 results in the largest damage dealt, landing on a 1 causes the least amount of damage (more details to be posted later)); each die is considered one spell of fireball, so if you throw all 8 at once...but they're a pain to construct, so that's the cap from preventing them from being game breaking. Usually, Meltan hands them off to Marshadow or Meloetta, since I realized that 4/8 of the team is weak to fire.

But yeah, I'm considering Meltan my Gen8 mythical (Let’s Go/Sword/Shield). I'll probably do some other teams once I finish some other projects (in the far, distant future).

Pretty cut-and-dry with this one. For once, my brain and I were in agreement.

Meloetta as a bard. Who didn't see this coming? Spicing it up a little, and doing 3 colors for a fun challenge!I feel like she would either be a Lore or Glamor Bard. Either way, she's staying off the frontline, providing support from the back. Hence the light armor. For her circlet, I drew inspiration from the Circlet of Persuasion from Pathfinder and the Mage's Circlet from Skyrim. Both of them would be a boost to her abilities. As for her coloring and the notes she is singing...well, it's a bit obvious for those who've played a certain FE.

So there’s actual a backstory to this character... There were originally two young marshadow, who were brothers. With their manipulation of shadows, they became arcane tricksters, making a living on their own. But the younger brother's life was stolen from him unjustly and before his time, and so the elder entered a pact with an unknown individual who spoke only through the tombstones in graveyards. The elder brother would serve his patron, and in return, little by little, his brother would return to the life he once lived. For now, his brother remains in his shadow, but he is there, watching his brother's back and speaking to him with words of encouragement and advice. And one day, he will be able to interact with the material world again. He's either Hexblade or Raven Queen (though I'm leaning towards Hexblade). Either way, he has a Pact of the Blade.

Let me be the first to say it: The Unearthed Arcana can be very broken. Very. Broken. Like, how did Wizards even let this through, this isn’t even beta this is alpha version!! 💢

However, in this case, it helped me. Thematically, at least. Going off of PHB, XGE, or SCAG, there wasn’t anything that really fit Diancie.

Enter the Stone Sorcerer. Diancie and the Carbink come from the earth, and so it seemed to fit.

Her clothing is sort-of based off of the characters from Journey, which is a beautiful game, if you haven't seen/heard of it before. The sword she's using is based on the one from the movie, but simpler, since she's not mega-evolved right now.

Powerful psychics can manifest psychic energy on the physical plane. These manifestations can range from blades, discs, or other simple weapons. Normally, this takes focus and intricate items can cause mental strain, but because Diancie uses diamonds that resonate with her energies (that came from where she was birthed), she can hold a stable form with minimal energy needed. Plus the diamonds (being physical and not just mental) deal physical damage, instead of just nerve damage that normal psychic weapons do.

Me: ... My Brain: ... Me: Druid. My Brain: Ranger. Me: Druid! My Brain: RANGER! Me: DRUID!

And this went on for a while until it was rationed that Shaymin would be concerned about the stability and purity of the environment, whereas rangers are generally defenders, and that the transformation via gracidea is more like wildshaping. I suppose the middle ground would have been multiclassing, but since Celebi got turned into a wizard, I wanted a druid somewhere on the team. It is what it is.

Me: I'm going to make celebi a druid. It represents nature, and was able to make that cool plant monster in the movie. Right, a druid! My Brain: You know what would be cool? Me: No, what? My Brain: If we made celebi a time wizard. Me: Wha-......okay, why? My Brain: You've been thinking about Dr. Who, and Time Lords. Me: That doesn't-no, if anything, wouldn't that be a Sorcerer? My Brain: Nah, celebi doesn't get power from dialga. Me: Then- My Brain: Besides, being a time wizards sounds so much cooler than a time sorcerer. Me: But, a druid- My Brain: Okay, this celebi's going to be a wizard! Let's scrap all these plans that we don't need anymore! Me: ...how did this even happen...? The brains of creative individuals are terrifying indeed... 

I was able to sneak some druid elements in, such as natural armor, since druids don't like metal. The wizard's spellbook got turned into a scroll, and celebi got a miniature bag of holding for spell components. Wizards don't usually create magic circles, but there's not really any info for time magic outside of homebrew or the Wish spell, so I'm thinking it works like Homura's shield.
