SOMA is one of my absolutely favorite games. on top of excellent atmosphere and slow-creeping dread, the story is well-developed and impactful.
Oh man I loved SOMA so much, it had a lot of elements that always get to me, especially the deep-sea exploration and all the machines that were stuck in a loop or unaware that they were machines. Also one of very few horror games I couldn’t get my sister to finish because the monsters freaked her out so bad. Strange, it wasn’t very scary to me in that way, it was more of a.. existential kind of scary.

what are your OCs going as for halloween
Merit: a sexy Something. Probably angel bc he thinks it's funny.
Lustre: sexy priest with full sincerity. Merit keels over wheeze-laughing at the inadvertent matching of them both.
Zekiel: ...god, he has the height to be a great Frankenstein's monster. I don't know that he'd care to dress up, but would if prompted.
Dion: he doesn't. But he does leave any blood he gets on himself, because it blends in more during the late Halloween crowd.
Bastian: ABSOLUTELY dresses as one of the Big Famous Slasher Villains. With real blades :)
Taliesin: either just dresses up (as he is a Fancy Wizard) or pulls out a shitty long fake beard and a cheesy wizard costume.
