Hey guys! Long time no see! (Again...)

I posted the next chapter of Kitty Section: Paranormal Investigators.

Some conversations are held! Plans are made. And Plagg cares for Adrien.

Butterfly Adrien:

-This au is where Fu lost the Peacock and Cat miraculous instead

-Adrien never went to school until much later on in season 2 or 3, but he was able to try to sneak in the school and helped Fu. That's how he got the butterfly miraculous.

-Gabriel used the peacock miraculous to turn into the villian Pavone. He locked the Cat miraculous in the safe behind Emilie portrait because Plagg won't cooperate to help him, and he tried to kill him once.

-Adrien met Nooroo just like he met Plagg in the Canon version. Nooroo already liked the boy; he can tell he is perfect chosen for the butterfly miraculous.

-Adrien also has the Cat miraculous after he steals it in the safe when there was a power outage in the city.

-Adien wears different clothes when he had the butterfly and ring miraculous. He wears a black turtleneck cloth, dark blue jacket, a necklace (his miraculous, he tied it with a string on it to make it look like a necklace) and a fingerless glove where the ring resides. His pants and shoes are the same

-Adrien calls himself Chrysalis (ca-ri-sa-lis) the butterfly hero, he doesn't often show himself that much instead he send his companions to help Ladybug and giving them instructions but if he does he is a very good fighter

-The first time Ladybug met Chrysalis was in the episode Sandboy. He only shows up at 2-3 times a week

-He transforms into Cat Noir sometimes to help Ladybug and his companion. It's hard work for him; he has to transform into Chrysalis to Chat noir and again. He's doing it to help Ladybug and so she won't be suspicious that he is Chat noir.

-It's really tiring him using both miraculous and switching back to another hero

-Nooroo and Plagg sometimes fight over who is Adrien's holder and favourite.

-Chloe is actually a decent person in this au and is a friend of Adrien. The only real reason why Gabriel allowed Adrien to go to school is because Chloe threatened him with something (still doesn't decided what it is).

-Ladybug fallen in love with Chrysalis in this au when he saved her from Sandboy. Their dynamic is more nicer and decent compared to the Canon one:

"A-are you?"

*Smiles* "Hello, my name is Chrysalis, the hero of transmission. Nice to meet you"

"N-names Ladybug, n-nice to meet you"

"It feels nice meeting my partner face to face for the first"

-Ladybug is in love with Chrysalis but Chrysalis is oblivious about it. But he always accepts her love for him. On Valentine's Day Ladybug got Chrysalis a gift and a flower when she called him to come to a roof. As kind hearted as Chrysalis is, he accepted her and let her be his Valentine's date.

-Chrysalis is serious and a complete dork, sometimes even in fighting sentimonster, it mixes between them. He is always kind to Ladybug that's why Ladybug loves him

-Nooroo and Plagg ships it:

"Ahhh… looks like the bug has fallen in love with my kitten"

"Ahem. You mean my Butterfly, his my holder Plagg"

"Oh shut up Apollo, his my holder not yours"

"What are you two talking about?" - Adrien

"Nothing!" - Nooroo and Plagg

-Chloe knows Adrien is Chrysalis and Chat noir after he gave her the Cat miraculous for a day since he was sick at that time, she calls her self Eloise.

Part 2

Marinette didn’t know how to react at Plagg’s words. There is absolutely no way that her partner could desire the power of destruction. She refused to believe that.

Marinette: If that was some kind of joke Plagg, I can promise you that it isn’t funny. There is no way Chat has bad intentions….

Before she could continue to berate Plagg, Tikki placed the tip of her arm to Marinette’s lips.

Tikki: Marinette, please wait. Plagg said that Chat Noir was the exception.

The girl blushes as Tikki is right, she had jumped the gun but to be fair it was in the defense of her partner.

Tikki: Forgive her Plagg and please, do explain what you mean by Chat Noir being the exception.

Plagg: Ok sugar cube. As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted,

Plagg glares at Marinette who smiled sheepishly at the embodiment of destruction.

Plagg: Chat Noir is the exception to the traditional reaction of my essence.

Before he continued Plagg became a bit nervous and it could have been Marinette’s imagination but she is almost positive that Plagg was blushing. The literal god of destruction is blushing in her bedroom. Not for the first time Marinette questioned how this became her life. He suddenly turned to the both of them and Marinette noticed out of her periphery that Tikki was smirking at her other half. Tikki was about to tease him when he interjected her.

Plagg: Don’t you even dare Tikki. You know we don’t typically share these experiences, even with each other. What I am about to share with you is very personal and I will not tolerate teasing of any kind. Got it!!

Creation quickly turned serious but anybody who looked at her could clearly see the mischief hidden behind those dazzling blues. It made Plagg groan but he continued on.

Plagg: As our first transformation was taking place, my essence and that of my wearer were transported as usual but what was different this time around is that I didn’t see him right away.

Tikki: That can’t be right!

Plagg: That was my reaction as well since when it happens we are exposed to each other. Our very selves laid bare to determine the future of our bond.

The more Marinette heard about this the more intrigued she became. She sort of wished she could remember what h ad happened when she first transformed. As if sensing her thoughts Tikki lowered herself onto Marinette’s shoulder and nuzzled her cheek. Tikki gave Marinette a bright smile and her anxieties were quickly put out.

Plagg: With no holder in sight, I walked around in the hopes of finding him. My first impression of him was rather good and it would be disappointing if we couldn’t work together.

Tikki: Aww you cared about him from the start.

Plagg: Shut it, Tikki!!! Anyway…..

Flashback

Destruction was rather annoyed at this point. Never in the history of their existence has a wearer not appeared in front of him or his fellow kwami. Just another thing he was an outlier about that the guardian would surely blame Plagg for. If he was honest with himself, he was tired of peoples fears blaming him for things outside his control. So much so that at times he found himself wanting to give into their fears and wipe them all out but then Creation wouldn’t speak to him for a while. Things tended to get boring when she ignored him.

He soon heard what appeared to be someone crying. Figuring it was worth checking out Plagg followed the sounds to its source. It was easy to find for Plagg quickly found himself staring at one of the brightest souls he could ever remember seeing. The way this wearers essence shined gave the sun a run for its money.

Plagg: Hello!

The boy who was curled up into a ball quickly stood up and wiped it’s supposed tears from his face. He turned around giving Plagg a forced smile.

Chat Noir: Hello, sir.

Plagg’s mood quickly soured at the obvious forced smile.

Plagg: Wipe that smile off your face, in here everything we share is pure sincerity.

Destruction had spooked the child with his outburst and while it was obvious he wanted to cry, he held it in.

Chat Noir: I’m sorry

His voice held utter sadness.

Plagg: Why are you crying?

He sniffles as he wrings the edge of what should be his shirt but is really his very self.

Chat Noir: It’s just that I’m not allowed to show feelings, Father says it is unpe… it’s unde… unbecoming.

Plagg laughs at his mispronunciation and that seems to be the wrong thing to do.

Chat Noir: I’m sorry I’ll do bette I swear, just please don’t leave me. It’s scary being alone.

Shock reverberates throughout Plagg and he has a sudden urge to hurt those who would cause this kid to feel alone. Before he can do that though he knows he has to comfort the little guy. He kneels to be more approachable.

Plagg: I’m sorry to say this kid, but you’re stuck with me and the only way to get rid of me is by dying or you giving me up. Do you plan on dying or giving me up?

A hopeful smile peeks out from the storm of feelings the kid is experiencing and he looks straight into Plagg’s eyes.

Chat Noir: No, you’re stuck with me too. But only if you want to. I don’t want you to be a prisoner like me.

A sun like rage burned within Plagg but he quickly puts a lid on it since he didn’t want to scare the kid after getting him to calm down.

Plagg: Of course I want to be with you, you see with the both of us together we’ll be an incredible team and be a superhero.

Chat Noir: Are you sure I’m the right fit though? Father tends to say I’m not very good at anything.

Plagg: Do you mind if I cover your eyes with my hand real quick?

The boy is confused at the sudden request but nods nonetheless. As soon as his eyes are covered Plagg’s form turns monstrous with his hand being the only thing that stays the same. He makes no noise but the silent screams of rage that come from deep within himself is the stuff of nightmares. With that out of his system he transforms back, he’s about to withdraw his hand when he sees the smile on the kids face. Gently Plagg asks,

Plagg: What’s that smile for?

Chat Noir: Your hand is very warm and it feels peaceful.

Plagg has never in his life been associated with being warm or peaceful. This kid was going to hurt him in ways he hasn’t felt before but he knew that he would never leave him. Instead of answering Plagg started to pat him on the head and showing him affection. The boy giggled and laughed in happiness at the attention he was being given. At one point he even started to purr when Plagg was scratching his chin.

Plagg: You will be among the best of my holders, never forget that Adr….

Bubbles left Plagg’s mouth and the kid just laughed.

Destruction started to feel the familiar pull of the transformation coming to an end. It was always weird how time worked in this space.

Plagg: Well little guy looks like it’s time to head back. Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime?

The kid nods enthusiastically but he turns pensive.

Plagg: What’s wrong?

Chat Noir: Nothing, it’s just, would it be okay if I hugged you?

Destruction turns worried since he didn’t get any impression that the kid would desire his power but his next realization almost made him want to punch himself. In front of him was a boy so starved for both emotional and physical affection that even the very essence of destruction wouldn’t deter him.

Chat Noir: I’m sorry, if you don’t want to that’s oka….

Plagg embraces the small child and Chat is quick to return the hug. It would be one of his fondest memories, rivaling the moment he met Creation.

And then they were pulled back.

Just a quick note, you guys may have noticed that I changed it from Plagg telling them about what happened to a flashback. The reason for this is that in my mind Marinette and Tikki kept interrupting Plagg which got annoying real quick.

Plagg and Adrien laid on the plush couch underneath the windows of Adrien’s room. The sunlight they basked in was warm, and Adrien thought about taking a nap. Homework was done, there was nothing he had to do today, and Nino had said that his newest remix wouldn’t be ready until the end of the day.

Plagg’s voice interrupted his thoughts. “You know, you’re allowed to transform and run around, even if there isn’t an emergency.”

Adrien turned to look at his Kwami. “What about being responsible? I thought—“

Plagg yawned. “Yeah yeah, but my younger chosens used to go out once in a while. Be responsible when you’re older.”

Adrien sat up, stared out the window for a moment, and turned to look at Plagg. “I thought you don’t like transforming ‘cause its work?”

Plagg’s back faced Adrien. “You’re one of my more…obedient chosens. I figured…you’d like to know you have the choice.”

Adrien smiled.

After looping around the city a couple times, a little area near the school caught Chat Noir’s attention.

Sometimes, when walking with Nino, Adrien would pass by a private, gated garden, in front of an ivy covered building. The garden was just filled to the brim with the most beautiful flowers and bushes. He’d get the urge to just climb the fence and walk in, but that would be weird, and a little illegal.

He’d also noticed that same garden during a few akuma fights. He’d never seen it trashed, though. Small blessings, he guessed.

Slinking near the edge of a rooftop, Chat Noir peered around the street to see if anyone was watching. Figuring that it was safe, he jumped down into the garden.

So many different types of flowers! Red ones and yellow ones and orange ones and purple ones! He thought about rolling in them, but figured that wouldnt be good for them. There was a winding path with stone steps, in between the bushes, and he followed it, sometimes leaning down to smell a flower—they smelled wonderful.

How do these flowers smell, he thought. They can’t! They don’t have noses!

Maybe he’d tell it to his friends next time they passed the garden. Nino would smile and laugh at him, and Ladybug would huff.

He laid down on the path. He closed his eyes, inhaled—

And something landed on his forehead. He startled, opened his eyes.

Flying lazily around his head were—ladybugs.

Chat Noir smiled.

Marinette was walking home from Alya’s place, and as she passed by the Beaumont’s garden, she noticed something out of place. Between the tall bushes was a flash of glossy black. She stopped walking, and leaned in…

…On the ground, on the stone path, she saw legs, in leather, with familiar steel toe boots. On the underside of the boots were paw pads.

Chat Noir!

She grabbed at the bars, startled. Why was he transformed? Was he okay?

She ran towards the building, she’d be able to get in through there.

Climbing fences was an activity better left to when she was Ladybug.

Chat Noir heard steps coming from around the building. He slowly sat up, not wanting to disturb the ladybugs circling his head, sitting on his mask, hair, ears, and shoulders.

Instead of an adult, coming to politely ask him to leave, he saw his classmate, Marinette. She was rushing towards him, stumbling a little, looking a little frantic.

Was there an akuma attack? “Marinette, are you okay?”

Her head snapped up from looking at the path. Her frown smoothed into a relieved smile.

“Chat Noir, I thought you were hurt!” She exhaled, walking up to him. “Are you okay? Is there an akuma?”

He held his head still. “Oh no, I was just enjoying some outdoor cat shenanigans! Look at my new friends!”

“Are those…ladybugs?” She’d never seen this many ladybugs outside of during her Miraculous Cure. There were maybe…50 around Chat’s upper body.

It would’ve been a little frightening if he didn’t looks so happy.

“Are you going to take a cat nap here?”

Chat Noir curbed his laughter, trying to keep from shaking off any of his ladyfriends.

“Eh, I don’t want to get in trouble with the owners, we’re not really supposed to be here,” he said conspiratorily.

“Oh don’t worry, I know them, they’re long time customers of the bakery. They won’t mind if I tell them.”

“Oh, thank you, Marinette!”

There was a little moment of awkward silence before Marinette straightened up. “Well, I’ll be going, I’ll talk to them on the way out.”

“Marinette, does this garden usually have this many ladybugs in it? I’d love to visit them again,” he said, more softly than she was used to.

“No, actually.” She turned away as Chat laid back down. “Ladybugs must just like you.”

Plagg: Oh, it's your birthday today. I have a gift that is purr-fect for you!

*throws a spit on Adrien's face*

Adrien: *wipes face* What's this?!

Plagg: That's a kwamitama, you imbecile. I've infused all of my powers and the hairs I've collected from the previous Black Cats to build that stone for you.

Adrien: *teary eyes* Thank you Plagg, I will treasure it dearly. By the way, what does this stone do?

Plagg: Bring you misfortune.

*Adrien throws it into the furnace*

So in this universe, Adrien's Miraculous broke during one of the battles between Hawk moth.

Adrien and Plagg didn't release that the ring was damaged so they went on with their day.

As Adrien continues using it, he often has headaches and nausea. During battles, Chat noir moves slower than he usually is and doesn't say any puns that much anymore.

Ladybug has to save him every time. Ladybug was annoyed by him and, at the same time is worried:

"Chat noir are you okay? You're not acting like yourself anymore"

"I'm fine… I'm just tired that's all" followed by a cough

Ladybug wasn't convinced though… she kept an eye on him in battles.

It gotten worse, Adrien will always stumble, cough, headache, and have a hard time breathing. It's like his body is dying

It concerned Plagg, Nathalie, and Gabriel. But Gabriel was the most anxious this reminded him of Emillie. Gabriel insisted his son take it easy and rest on his bed, but Adrien begged to let him go to school and that he would be fine. This was hard for Gabriel, but he eventually agreed.

Gabriel contacted the school, warning them to keep an eye on his son and what is going on with him.

When the symptoms started appearing, Plagg realised what was happening. The miraculous is broken

Plagg told Adrien about this and tried to convince him to stop using the miraculous and ask for Ladybug's help

But Adrien didn't listen; he told him that he doesn't want to be a burden to Ladybug, especially now she is the guardian.

Adrien ones pass out on school. Of course, they called his parents. The next day he didn't go to school. His friends were worried about him when they questioned his father about this. He reassured them that he is fine and that he just needed some rest. He also told them to keep quiet about this incident, but of course it got leaked as the news spread not only in Paris but the world

Chat noir doesn't appear in battles that much anymore. When he does, he looks like he is exhausted and tired. He became slower as the battle continued.

When Chat Noir doesn't show up on battles, Ladybug has to be the one protecting the city alone. Every time the battle gets too much for her, she calls the other heroes. The other holders now appear more often.

When Chat noir finally appeared for the first time in months there was another person besides him. He had the peacock miraculous he introduced himself as Argos. The peacock hero said that he will be assisting Chat noir for the battle. Before Ladybug can question why he has the Peacock miraculous the battle begun.

During the battle, Argos' concerns seemed to be Chat noir and only Chat Noir. He kepts protecting him from the attacks and saving him while he let Ladybug get hit and in danger. While Ladybug was busy fighting that akuma, Argos make sure Chat noir is well as he kept as eye on him.

After they purified the akuma Ladybug wanted to ask Argos for the miraculous but her concern shifted to Chat noir when he started coughing really loudly, he sounded like he was having a hard time breathing before she could ask him if he was alright. Argos picked Chat noir up in bridal style and left:

'Sh*t! It's getting worse' Argos curses as he tries to keep the cat hero standing and his other arm on his shoulder.

Ladybug went toward the two with worried glances. "Chat! Are you oka-" before Ladybug could finish the question. Argos lifted Chat noir's legs and as he carried him in bridal style when he felt his knees buckle amd left the scene leaving a confused and concert bug

Don't worry Adrien/Chat Noir doesn't die; I can't bring myself to :,)

"YOU! YOU HAVE SOME NERVES SHOWING YOUR FACE HERE AFTER WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO MY KITTEN AS WELL AS MY CHEESE!!!" Plagg spoke with rage at Felix.

Felix backed away a little bit.

"Plagg…" A weak voice called out, catching their attention to the boy who is now sitting on the bed who is coughing.

"Adrien!" Plagg flew towards the boy with worry in his voice.

"Please don't yell at him… he's trying to help…" Whispered raspy Adrien who is now covering his mouth to stop coughing

Felix then ran towards Adrien at his side trying to comfort him. Putting Adrien's head on his shoulder to his chest hugging him.

'His getting worse' Felix and Plagg thought worriedly 

After a few minutes the coughing died down as Adrien fell asleep on Felix's chest

Felix smiled softly and then looked at the kwami in front of him who was watching them the whole time. His gaze softened when he realised Felix was staring at him.

He spoke slightly calmer "Hmm… you aren't the same dick you were the last time huh? I'm impressed"

Felix nodded as he looked at his cousin sleeping on his chest. As he whispered regretfully, "I regret what I did to him. He didn't deserve what I put him through…"

Plagg stared at him wary. But then sighed softly "He forgave you so I guessed I can do the same thing"

Felix looked at the god in front of him in shock. "But don't get too sappy. As much as I dislike you, I'm doing this for Adrien's sake" as he looked at the boy (Adrien) with sadness and worry in his eyes.

Felix didn't say a word, he just nodded.

Plagg then glared at him as he spoke in a harsh tone "However if you ever hurt him again, you'll regret it."

Felix nodded firmly
