"Narrator of stories written by others" LMAO
Want to say this outloud so that the rest of the tag+comunity knows it and knows it well: not all the Lily Orchard-critical blogs and people HAVE to be buddy-buds with each other. It's always nice to have unity and no-infighting but you need to understand we are all adults talking about how we and other people have been hurt/set-upon by her base, or even preyed on by Lily herself.
Barring shitty transphobes and KiwiFarms (I 100% get why someone would go there, espec when receipt trails are getting harder and harder to keep up and are reported as harassment in sites like this one; I personally wouldn't trust the farms and the bozos there to handle my info well or with good faith. Other people who are using farms for receipt-tracking? Sure. The Farms themself? Fuck no and fuck Null) and obviously predatory people in their own right like Zena and Poppy, we're here to tell our stories and make sure other people's stories get told. Beef, even particuarly ugly beef like accusing each other of dismissing ab*se, zionism, or being angry that we're on servers w people we don't like - it's valid to not be chummy and mad at each other. Still, none of that will ever make us what Lily (or Zena and Poppy) is.
Lily Orchard-
wrote CP (her 'Stockholm' series). It may not have involved real children so it's not punishable by law in many states/prefectures, but y'know writing graphic cp is not a good thing. Most annoying proshippers defend the semantics of 'drawn material' out of fear that those rules will be abused and used to silence non-vile art: BUT, they don't support it and they don't want it around;
also, Lily up and lied to her audience, first that she ever wrote Stockholm then that the videos were she admitted to writing it were deepfakes and that the fanfiction's graphic bits were edited in by bronies who were mad at her.
stole (ie. copy-pasted other people's writing) other people's words and passed them off as her own
CONSTANTLY talks over people of color and other queer people. I'm too damn white and not native to dictate if Lily is truly 'native' or not. What she does/say though in the name of fighting for other lgbtq and bipoc folk is really scummy.
and that's JUST the tip of the iceberg!! Lily-
had PatchworkHearts make graphic p0rn of her behind her[Lily's] partner's back, most of which Patchwork was not comfortable with making but did so out of desperation that Lily took advantage of, including drawing r@pe-bestiality of on of Lily's x's ocs.
is quite possibly is a serial sock-puppeteer; creating accounts to live out her darker fantasies. On the offchance that Tara Callie is somehow a real person, than that real person is vile as hell and was just as much (longer so) a friend of Lily's than she was Britt's, so it's cruel of Lily to act like Britt was complacent in Tara's crimes and not her.
has been accused of lying about medical ailments to get money from her audience.
immediately dumped ILoveKimPossiblealot for having the gall to talk to LIly's accusers and get their stories, rather than just take Lily's word.
keeps instinctively misgenders people and only stops when she gets any heat for it like she did to EssenceofThought. By contrast every one of her main critical blogs has not misgendered or deadnamed her, and the one who initially did has actively avoided deadnaming and misgendering her since.
in now deleted videos and older tumblr posts, told friends of abuse victims not to care about their abused friends and parents of incestuous siblings to accept their children's incest.
is being accused by her sibling of CSEM. Lily has said it's the other way around but then also draws her sibling as the darvo'd sister from an incest game, dismisses said siblings abuse at the hands of their half sibling because Lily 'loves' him, and also proudly has mentioned beating up said sibling and slying saying she 'ran off with a pedophile' at 17 as though being taken advantage of (I know, Courtney does not view said relationship like this) is the sibling's fault.
And that's all I could remember for a single post. Im going to go back and post links once this headache I'm suffering from is sated.
It has come to my attention that a certain someone has continued to steal my OCs. The first image is their copies, the second two images are the originals. DO NOT buy from them, as these ponies ALREADY HAVE OWNERS WHO PAID FOR THEIR DESIGNS. Please report her for character theft, her deviantart, artfight, and toyhouse are all MagicClan.
Mine were originally uploaded on my now deactivated account RylesTheTanuki.
Please help me spread awareness by reblogging and sharing.
Ugh. Someone has copied my work on ao3.
I don’t understand why people do this. It’s so upsetting. I can’t even report it on my own because multiple people already reported it so it’s out of my hands. I know ao3 will eventually get to it and hopefully take it down, but for now the offending story is still up. I tried to reach out to the author myself, asking them to take it down(because this has happened before and thankfully that person understood), but this person just deleted the comment. The story has been already up for 2 months! I’m a little at a loss of what to do next, and so I just wanted to vent a little bit here.
Please don’t copy other people’s stories and change the main characters and fandom so they hopefully don’t find it. It sucks to spend so much effort on writing a story and then have someone take your words, change a few words using a thesaurus, and post it as their own.
target hello???
A Brief Guide on Reporting Plagiarism On Ao3:
Ao3 is a great site but their report system isn't as obvious as some others. They are really, really good at responding to complaits tho! Here's how to report something on Ao3:
Step 1: Go to the Ao3 homepage and look for the red bar at the top. Hit "About," then go to "FAQ".
Step 2: That will bring you to a list of links. Scroll down until you see "Glossary." It should be second to bottom on the list.
Step 3: Click on on the "Glossary" link. That should open up another list of links. The one you want is "Abuse" and should be at the very top of the secondary link list.
Step 4: Click the "Abuse" link. That will bring you to a section in the FAQ with links and a few short paragraphs. The one you want is called "Report Abuse Form". (Can also be found here)
Step 5: Click on the "Report Abuse Form" link. This will take you to the page with an informal way to report stuff to Ao3 (scroll down to find it). In that page, there is also a link to a formal DMCA complaint, but that requires much more information like you real name, address, and an actual physical letter to be sent, and not everyone can safely reveal that much about themselves.
Also, a reminder to everyone out there: This form is not meant to be used if you don't like the content. It is only for (as Ao3 also says on that page), fannish next-of-kin, account recovery, breaches of the Ao3 Terms of Service, and DMCA/copyright issues.
Personal dislike of content on Ao3 is not how this is supposed to be used. Flooding the volunteer team with phony complaints will only waste time and prevent them from helping people with a genuine problem.
This has been a PSA. Thank you for your attention.
Tumblr why can't I tag this.
Listen.
You do NOT have permission to repost my work(s) anywhere, on any platform, for any reason, at any time, UNLESS I GIVE YOU EXPLICIT WRITTEN PERMISSION IN DMs/PMs (and I most likely won’t).
I shouldn’t have to say this, but what’s written above is default for ANY writer/creator, no matter:
what they write/make
how long they’ve been writing/producing content
how popular they are
how long it’s been since they’ve updated
how close you two are
If you do not have EXPLICIT WRITTEN PERMISSION (and proof of that permission, like a screenshot) you NEVER EVER EVER have permission to repost UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
REBLOGS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME! REUSING A PIECE OF ART MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR PURPOSE, LIKE A BOOK COVER OR BANNER, IS WELCOME WITH CREDIT!
BUT IF YOU DO NOT GET PERMISSION, THE ANSWER IS “NO.”
The ONLY way to get permission if to DM/PM the author/creator and ask, “Hey, is it okay if I repost/continue you work(s)?” If you get ANY response other than “Yeah, sure” or, “Okay, but I want to. . .” then you DO NOT have permission!
If they don’t respond? You don’t have permission!
If they say “well, let me think on it”? You do not have permission!
And guess what? If the creator responds, RESPECT. THIER. WISHES. If they say, “No, here’s why. . .” be grateful they took the time to respond!
If they say, “Yeah, but you have to X, Y and Z,” then agree and be grateful they’re granting you permission.
FANWORK CREATORS OF ALL KINDS OWE YOU NOTHING.
Get that? Creators have absolutely zero obligation to take requests, or suggestions, or create work at all. Some do, because they want to, but nothing’s stopping them from closing requests.
NOTHING is stopping them from deleting their accounts and leaving fandom forever except their love of fanworks. Plagirism and unauthorized reposting will discourage all creators and it is absolutely 100% the reposter’s fault.
Let me repeat that for those of you who didn’t see it:
Plagirism and unauthorized reposting will discourage all creators and it is absolutely 100% the reposter’s fault. The victim is NEVER at fault.
It’s consent, people. If you don’t understand it here, in relation to creative content, you do not understand consent in regards to sex. Be grateful the consequences aren’t as severe.

Now, some of you will say “Hey, that’s not true! You only need to credit the creator, and not ask for permission! You don’t call every author to ask if you can cite their work when you’re writing a report!”
Okay, the last bit is true - you don’t call authors to ask if you can cite their work. Why? Because YOU ARE NOT USING THEIR ENTIRE WORK. (If you are, you have serious issues with academic integrity that will cause you problems later.)
Authors of original fiction are paid with money. Fanfiction authors are paid with the love of their fans in various forms: comments, likes, reblogs, kudos, etc that encourage them to make more fanwork.
If you repost a piece a fanwork creator has made, YOU ARE STEALING THEIR PAYMENT FROM THEM.
Even crediting an author/creator is not enough if they don’t know about this reposting. If they don’t know, how are they to interact withthe people who liked it?
Some creators don’t like certain platforms. Some have bad experiences with certain platforms in the past that made them quit. Some platforms aren’t available to some creators, for whatever reason. That’s totally okay!
Fanwork creators are allowed to chose whatever platforms they want to share or not share their work. You - a recipient of their work - do not get to take it upon yourself to ‘help’ them.
(The one exception is comissions, when you pay money for a fanwork creator to make something for you. Even then, if you post it, you must credit!)
#
This concludes my rant/info dump.
#
Also, thank you so much to all the fans who comment, like/kudos/vote on fanworks - all fanworks, of all kinds. This post is not directed at you. Thank you so, so much for making someone’s day brighter.
To the people who have unknowingly reblogged stolen work, this post is also not directed at you. You were decieved by someone who did not respect creators. Please take down/delete the reposted work and support the creator. I have faith in you that you will not make that mistake again, and understand how shocking it must’ve been when you found out. If this is you and you genuinely didn’t know, you are an innocent bystander who go caught up and it’s not your fault. Thank you for supporting your local fanwork creators.
