But I must say: The new LCD-X provides vast improvements (the originals were already fan-freakin’-tastic)! Better ergonomics, greater efficiency (better for lower powered in-studio headphone amps) + overall soundstaging (width & depth) tonal balance and bass definition+slam. OK - forget typing this crap - Back to listening! B-R-A-V-O @audeze_official - you’re still KILLING IT! Audeze Sine (Cypher lightning cable) + iPhone 7: in the aircraft from Hyderabad to Bangalore, listening to A Night in Tunisia (48/192) by Art Blakey and The Messengers. The first bars of the first song itself shows the prowess of these cans. Percussion instruments sweeping through all the frequencies immediately test the headphones. The roar through lesser cans would have indistinguishable components. But not though the Sine, that effortlessly separate the components, with the unflinching skill of a lion tamer. With the bass heard distinctly through the storm. Then in come Lee Morgan and Wayne Shorter triumphantly adding to the rapture. The cans effortlessly handle the pressure of a difficult piece with resolution and neutrality. And all of this on a wide soundstage with precise imaging. Man, I love these headphones. The next song, Sincerely Diana begins....
