Here is my first model plane btw! Just a little baby Ilyushin IL-76, a truly beautiful Soviet-era heavy cargo plane. When I first saw that silhouette, I fell in love!

What a beauty…

Thunderbird One owes a lot to this little baby - first to beat Mach 9 and proving that Scram Jets are the future of supersonic flight.

Thankfully we now have cahelium - it’s more than capable of withstanding the might of Mach 19 😁

I just caught what looks like an aborted landing at RAF Losssiemouth!

The line changing from yellow to white then back again means the plane decreased altitude to below 100m then flew back up again

Looks like they're circling around for attempt 2 at the minute
