Had to go on a long walk today. Used an opportunity to take some photos
I like to imagine this MSD as closest to how I look in some ways of all of my BJDs. Having brown skinned dolls is important to me because growing up there was so little I could identify with. Having that reflected in gender presentation is also helpful.
Dolls should reflect all people, not a societal idealisation. I want to see kids growing up with images of who they are, not who someone wants them to be.
What happened to Planetdoll? I just recently found their website while looking for mermaid bjds, but I can't find anything about them except for one DOA page. Did they just drop off? Or do they go by another name/website?

My little Lachrymosa... I seriously don’t know what to do with her. I love her to bits, but I feel so stuck with her. A huge part of me just wants to give her a new home. I haven’t played with her much, and I’ve own her for years already... I just don’t FEEL her, you know? Never really bonded with her.

what the hell happened to Planetdoll anyway? It just seems to have. Stopped. With no explanation or (seemingly) warning. Are they ever coming back? I always wanted a Riz :c

More sewing! A sleeveless shirt and a cape and hood for Cassandra to go with the skirt. I have A LOT of red fabric and I may as well go all out and cliche right? The shirt is from a pattern I made before but it's not good and I might remake it from scratch. The cape I tried to make a pattern for (the photo of her in beige is me draping and cutting the hood) but I screwed it up somehow and salvaged partway through. So no repeats on this particular hood. I might add more detail to it later though.
