Clay Face

I really love doing concept art and character designs. I mixed a few different versions of this iconic batman character, but the largest inspiration in the design is the 90′s animated series version. I also did a volcanic variant color design, after watching that episode of Batman Beyond, that had a team of heroes based on the fantastic 4. The lava dude in that was totally a clever reuse of clay face’s character model.

Did a draw this in your style challenge, that I ran across on Instagram. The inspiring piece was made by maipaiiu, and the challenge was posted by dailyartchallenge. Both can be found on Instagram. I changed the character design quite a bit when adapting it to my style, but I kept the same all around flavor. I added a homage to my friend xombie06, and her brand Xombie Enforced. Step onto the stage, and Rage. The Bardbarian is a 5e D&D compatible home brewed subclass, and I’m really excited about all the home brewed D&D content I’ve been working on being that much closer to its published premier, and more importantly, being played at your game table. Non of my work thus far is official wizards of the coast, it’s 100% home brewed.
