LUMIPLANTA OPEN SPECIES
I keep forgetting I exist here lol but anyways I decided to make an open species myself cause out of boredom and inspiration of other open species and you, yes you can design an oc of the open species yourself if you want! I would generally love to see how other people would make their designs of my open species! Just let me know cause I'm always hyped to see other designs
General info about Lumiplanta's:
It is unknown what animal they originated from but it seems to be like some sort of plant based creature, it has different appearances depending on it's environment and what weather it is they always adapt along with the plants around it. The species are also quite small so they're mostly seen flying around or sleeping on trees and plants. They got their energy from photosynthesis they only eat anything as a last resort when the sun isn't out, they're also herbivores.

How to design one:
- Basically use the body shape like the ones I made below here as an example
- the color pallete varies on what color the plant it is based off of (ex. Trees will make it have a combination of green and brown, cherry blossom trees gives it a combination of brown and pink etc.) the color doesn't have to highly accurate to the actual color to the plant but recommended
- the antenna and wings on it can also change depending on what the plant it is based off of tho you don't have to necessarily change it if you don't want to :D 👍
- you would be required to credit me for being the creator of the species but it is optional to send a link to this post

Gender differences:To tell if a lumiplanta is a Male or female the main key points is that males have longer tails and females mostly have neck fluff but both genders can have those features depending on genes so to make sure if it's truly a male or female is checking it's size as males are always larger than females

Notes:
-the plant it is based off of is mostly recommended to be a real plant but fictional plants are also fine
- pls use the lumiplanta tag so I can also see the other designs within the tag
- they do have mouths it's just not visible

I like the plant theme, I think it sort of worked well. I bought some stickers and washi tape a couple weeks ago, I got all the stickers I purchased and they’re sooo cute! Just waiting for the washi tapes now. Might put of a haul of them, but my blog is mainly around fashion, I should make a new blog around pen pal letters. I’ll let you know what it’s called when I make it.
