I feel the need to say this.
I AM NOT AN AUTHORITY ON ALTERHUMAN LABELS!
[Plain Text: I AM NOT AN AUTHORITY ON ALTERHUMAN LABELS!]
If I get something wrong, PLEASE do not assume that it's on purpose! I'm not saying that you can't be annoyed or upset or offended. But getting snippy and aggressive, acting like that's going to do anything, isn't the answer either.
I MAKE MISTAKES! THAT'S OKAY!
[Plain Text: I MAKE MISTAKES! THAT'S OKAY!]
What WOULDN'T be okay is if I didn't take responsibility for the accidental misinformation. But if you look through the linked resources in my pinned post (specifically the one on why k word is a slur and the harms of miagendering) then you'll see that I have absolutely no problem being corrected when misinformation is accidentally spread.
I'm going to make mistakes. That. Is. O. Kay. That's okay. I'm not perfect. I'm not super, in-depth, always up to date, nerded out on all alterhuman identities and their definitions.
Please, please, please stop acting like the person on your screen is intentionally being malicious when past behaviors prove that that is not the case. A gentle correction is all I need. That's it.
I'm writing this because I've gotten a few things wrong about a few different identities. And while I greatly appreciate the people who have gently reproached me, I've had a couple other people who get passive aggressive or accusatory. Please, please, please. I never want to offend anybody. You're feelings are valid but lashing out at me as if I did it on purpose, IS NOT. Please just let me know that I got it wrong, maybe give me some reading material. I genuinely don't mind.
Thank you. That is all. 💞
What is an otherfix?
An otherfix is an alterhuman/nonhumans/alterbeing/otherhuman whose identity is influenced in some way by a hyperfixation.
Almost any alterhuman(or nonhumans, ect) can be otherfix.
Example: a fictionkin involontarily identifies as a creeper (hostile mob in Minecraft) because he has a hyperfixation in the Minecraft game. The creeper is therefore his fictiotype and his fixtype.
An animalkith feel a huge connection with beetles because he has a hyperfixation on this animal. So he is a otherfix beetlekith.
An otherlink voluntarily chooses to identify as a kitsune, because it helps him live with his hyperfixation on this.

This was an anonymous request- I accidentally deleted the original message- I’m so sorry for the wait/gen
hey uh is the strong desire to become moss normal or is that another one of my alterhuman identities i need to become aware of /genq
I remember how to do social networking! I will... *checks notes* share nutrients, water, and information in a definitely not parasitic underground exchange.
I love being a flower. It's so fun. I love sitting and sunning! My petals just love the sun! But I do need to be careful I don't sunburn! To any other plantkins who like to sun, be careful! Sun scorching is no fun!
Not to sound dramatic but whenever I come home and a plant is dead I am always so fucking sad.
Because I have to fly to different states to visit family (court orders) it's so hard to keep all the plants I want. I had this beautiful heart-shaped succulent and it's dead and ugh. I loved that thing.
And one of my succulents that I have had for about ~4 years succumbed. It's been struggling ever since 2023, when it got infected with a parasite, but I really thought he would be okay.
My baby vines died too, I had only started growing them like 4 months ago. I conditioned them to be able to withstand the neglect they would face in my absence and they still died.
All of my herbs died, too. I had cilantro, basil, mint(HOW DID THEY KILL THE MINT???) and rosemary, and they all dead. That's really on me though, I didn't condition them well enough and I planted them too late. Still kind of sucks though.
My baby succulent died, too. It was from one of my old, old opalina's that died from... something idk tbh(yeast infection I think). I had propagated it and it was doing so so very good, had multiple roots, and then it died and like. man.
