BABY’S BIRTHDAY!!! YAYYY!!!

My friends got me the modern era Kristen (blue dress) and papa got me the modern era Samantha (pink dress) and I am over the moon!!! I’ve wanted them FOR MONTHS!! They’re my first American Girl dolls!! And papa got me a new outfit for my doll Estelle (pink shirt/green skirt)

He also got me this school play set!!! SCHOOL IS MY FAVORITE PRETEND GAME!!!!! He also built me my play kitchen!!! I’ve never had one and I’m sooooo excited!! I plan on making a bunch of felt food!! Feeling sooo spoiled!!

Steffie, her sister Peyton and I are practicing our executive functioning skills together!

Peyton is learning how to cut fruit, but Steffie doesn't like fruit, so she's making her safe food, canned tomato soup.

We don't put any pressure on "healthy eating" here; any eating is better than no eating!

Even Cricket the crazy kitty is helping!

Sleepy Mornings

Your father, Thanos, is still sleeping on Easter morning, as the first rays of sunlight fall into the apartment's bedroom. You and your big brother have one mission: to wake Appa up and tell him it's EASTER!

Gentle sunlight made its way through the bedroom curtains. You could clearly hear your Appa snoring very loudly. Him still benign in dreamland. And it was Easter! The cartoon rabbit Bugs Bunny said it on TV, and you and your big brother listened closely and understood every word. It was Easter, and Appa was still asleep? Impossible!

"Should we wake Appa up?"-  Your big brother's voice was muffled, and the 5-year-old also cast a critical glance at the sleeping rapper Thanos—also known as Choi Su-Bong—or to you and your big brother—Appa—who seemed to be disturbed by the muffled voices of his 5- and 3-year-old children or the cartoon that was turning up a bit louder from the adjoining living room. Oh no, Thanos continued to sleep. As if nothing in this world bothered him.

You nodded in agreement. 

 Yes, you would wake Appa up! It was already light outside, the sun was shining aaaand Thanos promised to make you a cool Easter breakfast with chocolate bunny-shaped pancakes (aaaand you can each choose a bag of chips from the nearby snack machine, a five-minute walk from the apartment, which is totally cool because there were rarely chips for breakfast!)

You and your big brother exchange a brief grinning glance. Then you run, one from the right and one from the left, toward the big bed where Thanos is lying on his stomach and climb onto it.

"APPA! Wake up!"

"APPA! Easter!"

You shout these words loudly and with a happy giggle and start jumping up and down, when Thanos just grumbles.

"Don't go back to sleep!"

"Bugs Bunny said it's Easter, Appa! Wake up!"

"Easter!"

An incomprehensible grumble comes from the pillow, which Thanos is now trying to use to hide from you.

"Appa isn't here. Call again in two hours, kids!"

You stop jumping for a moment and crawl closer to the head of the bed to playfully stroke your father's purple hair with your small hands.

"Appa, wake up!"  - you repeat extra loudly, and your brother supports you, pulling away the pillow Thanos is trying to hide under, throwing it far away from the bed, and poking Thanos on the right shoulder.

"Easter breakfast and chips! Eomma never lets us have chips for breakfast, Appa!"

Your parents are not together anymore.

Thanos won the Easter weekend this year... and of course, you haven't forgotten what he promised you last night.

"I'm just soooooo cooler than Eomma!" - Thanos said with a yawn, and then, without warning, pulled you both closer with one hand each and hugged you.

"I love you, you little monsters! And before we get up, should we wake someone else up? Just because... because we're cool, huh?" -  Thanos reached for his smartphone, which was on the small table next to the bed.

When Thanos opened the app's FaceTime call  option, your big brother giggled amusedly.

"Who shall we call, Appa?"

"Remember the club promoter who set up the toy kitchen the last time you were here?"

You and your brother nodded once. 

He was a man who swore a lot...you learned many new words that day, which Appa had insisted you never say in front of your Eomma.

"Nam-Su, or whatever his name is, probably wants to be woken up too, because it's Easter!"

And so, after that sleepy Easter morning, Thanos pressed the call-video call icon—only to tear Nam-Gyu from dreamland a few moments later  - with the help of his two children.
