Honestly, a week away from the chaos of Britain was much needed, although we escaped by a thread with all of the flight cancellations currently going on.
Sounds crazy but I was happy to come back to the familiarity and be comfy in my own room again.
I wouldn’t live in Gran Canaria, but I’d definitely go again for a nice week away or so.
