Today we engaged in an extension from our Jelly sensory with a citrus sensory experience which the Turtles enjoyed with lots of positive interaction between each other and myself. We used our touch, sight and taste senses with lots of feeling the texture of the fruits, looking at the colors and trying the different tastes. Looking for an easy way to teach colors? Try Fruit Loops! Make colored circles on a white or very lightly colored sheet (I used the back of a place mat,) and have your tot place the cereal in the circles according to color.
