There is nothing like your childhood. You don't forget it, you can't change it, you see its affect all over your life and when you actually go back and experience the same things you liked as a kid when you're all grown up, you see that they don't excite you as much as they did back then. Yoday I installed an old game that I played when I was a kid (well this time on #linux and #wine) and while I was going through the exact same experience that I've gone through when I was a kid, I saw myself how different I am as a person than I was before. I don't get excited about little things anymore, I say "wow" less often, and I've got more real in life. Even the way that I imagine stuff has been changed. It's better now! Back then, I didn't know what is important and what is not, and I think all kids are like this too. That gets me thinking! Is it possible that when I grow up more and become older, the things that matter to me now, they wouldn't matter then?
