What ho, old chaps, and I really cannot apologize enough. The moderator of this whole affair has been, I'm afraid to say, going through it, and has somewhat fallen off. However, I'm fond of this Substack, and of all the memories that have come from it and the people who have loved it, so I will be doing my best to start it back up within the month!

          Kuroo ends up leaning his cheek atop of his boyfriend's brown locks out of sheer habit. whenever one of them leans close, it's only natural for the other to welcome the gesture —  by now it’s just comforting. something they've grown used to during the last two years of living together in this tiny, cozy dorm room. gosh ... what's to become of them once they have to move out ? ; almost immediately, the student grimaces at the thought & feels a shiver run down his spine. nah. there's no way he's going to indulge in negative thoughts. that's something he absolutely cannot afford ! therefore   ( & perhaps as a way to stop the wandering of his somewhat sleep - deprived mind )   — slender digits continue pressing on the buttons of his laptop's keyboard as Kuroo focuses on finishing a guide to an oral presentation that's due in precisely two days. at the moment : there's only so much left to do ! only a few more topics to review & a few last touches to do before catching an overall view of the project.

          & much like ever, the taller boy will only be truly satisfied with his work when he sees it through. when he's aware that there is literally nothing he can do better it. with a victorious grin now settling upon thin lips, Kuroo averts his gaze from the screen, up to the ceiling as he moves to stretch his free arm.     ❛   All done — ! Did ya like the private lesson on how to properly communicate with peo — ... uh ? Dai ?   ❜     he frowns at the lack of response from the boy still leaning against his silhouette.   ‘ ah ... he must be sleeping. ’

          still with his free arm, Kuroo closes the laptop & sets it at the top of the small coffee table ahead of them. & then ... he turns ; tightly wrapping his arms around Daichi & bringing him flush against him as lips press against the side of his face repeatedly.     ❛   Time t'a wake up, sleepin' beauty ! • he is very clingy when he falls asleep so there is absolutely no escape for you until the sun rises

• also somehow, moves around alot while sleeping

• there's also a pretty high chance he might roll over you during his slumber (but it's ok, just shove him off to the side)

• he is usually the big spoon but he occasionally asks to be the little spoon too (he really likes it! you should do it more often!)

• he is also likes it when you sleep facing his chest (so he can watch your adorable sleeping face)

• he smells faintly of jasmine flowers

• during restless nights, he sings you lullabies and songs from his birthplace

• he would also run his fingers through your hair or rub your back to get you to fall asleep

• sleeptalks in a foreign language sometimes

• waking up at the crack of dawn? sleeping in till noon? it's a mystery everytime you lay down with this guy

• he is a bit groggy after waking up so he might try to drag you back into bed. just go with the flow.
