That being said; Microdosing on freedom is such a good way to put it. Something, something...the gilded cage of being highborn. Wanting the power and the influence to change the world but also...being stuck in a place where your worst memories of childhood flourished. Seeing your friends travel the world and save lives while you sign paperwork. But also being good at it, and taking pride in it, in a certain sense? you know?
