do y’all remember before direct messages tumblr had a dumbass ask limit of 10 per hour and communication was impossible until they introduced dumbass fan mail and we were basically sending telegraphs back in forth trying to communicate those were…dark times

To this day, XKit has an option to turn Tumblr’s background color back to the old one because of just how angry people got when they changed it. Genuine widespread rage at the color change.
The old color was also blue, just a slightly different shade.

Made and typeset this version of House of Cards by @supramingi as a gift for a friend! The cover is black velvet with "Haedokje" in gold. The end pages are handmade Korean paper with gold hanja, and the same Korean hanok motif in black on the cover is also inside as a chapter image in full color. My favorite part though is that before each chapter, there is a double sided images of a seotda hand. Each chapter the cards are a more powerful combination until the last chapter, where the cards are the unbeatable 38 gwang ddaeng 🎴
This was a labor of love to hand sew and typeset over 900 pages, but one of the best fics I've ever read deserves to have a beautiful physical presence, and my friend deserves the only best present I could come up with!!
