Any Joyful Future headcanons you haven’t gotten the chance to share yet?

Hmm. I mostly come up with all of this stuff on the fly as y’all ask me stuff, but here’s one (it got a touch long, so there’s a cut):

Mom and Hotch have ongoing bits they’ve developed over the years. One of them being “that’s the name I used to dance under.”

i got some of these ideas from a twitter thread about bits people have that their spouses/partners hate and it had me in STITCHES. 

So basically whenever they see something like “honey bunches of oats” “spicy gravy” or anything that can be turned into something hilarious and/or suggestive, one of them goes “oh, that’s the name I used to dance under” and the other says something to the effect of “ah yes, that’s right. I think I saw you in your heyday.”

Mom started it with Derek and it slowly wiggled it’s way into the hotchner house.

Another one is that mom, instead of getting out on her side of the bed at the beginning or end of the day, will just....roll over Hotch and get off on his side of the bed like he’s not even there. It absolutely delights her, and jack thinks it’s hilarious.

Like “oh I forgot my water bottle in the kitchen!” *rolls over Hotch, leaves, comes back with water bottle, rolls over Hotch again, and settles back into bed* and he’s like “really? Are we doing this again?” But he loves it because he can just grab her around the waist and pull her to him on her way over. 

Really, just give me anything where mans gets to have laughter and fun in his house because I’m sure he and Haley had a lot of fun when they were younger but it was just such a drag later, you know?

Miranda Lotto:

Jiao loves Miranda to pieces.

She always ensures that she knows her worth with the other Exorcists.

Reminds her to take breaks every now and then.

Highkey ships her with Marie.

Will actually fight someone if they talk shit about Miranda.

Gives her tips on how to handle stress.

They’re both beans.

Jiao thinks Miranda’s gorgeous, and tells her this.

Daisya Barry:

Team “Annoy the Absolute Shit out of Kanda”.

Sibling like relationship.

Jiao learning bits of Turkish to make him feel more at home.

Daisya actually started the nickname “Halfpint”

She bought him a soccer ball for his birthday.

A force to be reckoned with on assignments.

Jiao was actually destroyed when he was killed.

Like, she actually left the Headquarters for a few days.

Harbours a deeper hatred for Tyki Mikk afterwards.

She actually broke down saying that she wanted Daisya back.

Arystar Krory III:

Jiaying is fascinated with Krory.

Sure, there was a point where they both nearly killed each other, but that’s in the past now.

Actually adores the Baron.

He doesn’t understand how someone her age could be so tiny.

He’s saved her ass a few times.

She’s incredibly thankful for him.

Will ask Tiedoll to sketch a landscape for him, so he can see a bunch of new places whenever 

Howard Link:

Loves his baking.

Harbours a tiny crush on him.

Like Komui, he’s interested as to how she can wield a giant weapon with so much ease.

Like, she highkey finds him attractive, and she told Allen.

Allen can never look at Link the same way again.

Has actually managed to talk him into braiding his hair when he was going over paperwork.

It actually turned out well.

Finds each other interesting.

Froi Tiedoll:

Dad.

Like, no joke, she accidentally called him “Dad”.

Marie and Daisya never let her live it down.

He’s actually her father figure.

He pats her on the head a few times.

Often forgets how small she is, and actually looks over her, and asks where she is.“I’m down here General.”

He’s sketched her once.

She’s very protective over her artist dad.

Nice! How do you get along with the other Ipliers? What about the Septics? Sorry I seem too proding, just curious.

Wilford and I have been friends since forever. Everyone else... let's just say I keep them at arms length.

All the Septics I more or less despise on varying degrees.

Also, I enjoy the questions. They're... fun to answer I suppose.

Tumblr/life issues

So apparently tumblr is mega stupid and was supposed to notify me of asks, which it did not do. I'm terribly sorry because I have no idea how long the asks have been in my message box. I do think about you guys and have tried to post things. Unfortunately, I've been semi-homeless for the past few months, I have friends to stay with so I'm really just misplaced. However, I'm about to be un-misplaced and have an apartment so hopefully college doesn't ruin my life and I can post more stuff for you. YAY! If you guys don't know, I'm just a white cis girl, who happens to be bisexual and have a lot of friends in the lgbqt* community. I noticed that many genderqueer, trans*, and genderfluid people have a lot of problems finding clothes and fashions that fit their needs and I happen to have knowledge in that area. So if(when) I mess up please correct me and all that good stuff.
