when or if I started shipping it: Day 1 (aka the motorcycle scene)my thoughts: I love them!! They’re so cute~What makes me happy about them: Otabek is a true gentleman and a little awkward when it comes to talking to other people, but he doesn’t care about any of that and whisks Yuri away, dumps five years worth of feelings on him, and then flat out asks him if he wants to be his friend. And Yuri, who’s never really had a friend or rival his own age, accepts and instantly enjoys having a support/someone to support on the ice.What makes me sad about them: Yuri is an ever-evolving monster who will keep getting stronger and stronger and Otabek has worked so hard and can’t quite get to his level (even though he’s older) So, he might not always make the GPF, but I’m sure he’ll cheer him on!things done in fanfic/art that annoy me: Making Otabek so much taller than Yuri. Don’t get me wrong, I love height difference in couples just as much as the next shipper, but he’s only 5 cm taller and Yuri will probably shoot up past him soon. It’s not really annoying, it just makes me laugh XDthings I look for in fanfic: FLUFF. Anything with the word “First” in front of it (first kiss, etc)My kinks: Tender, sweet cuddles and slow, almost too gentle love-making.Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I’ve seen a lot of Otabek and JJ and, even though I love JJ with Isabella (and Seung-gil, haha) I sort of get that ship because A) Undercut Boyfriends! and B) It’s SouRin (voice actors) As for Yuri…I mean, no one? I didn’t ship him with anyone at all until Otabek appeared.My happily ever after for them: Competing until they retire and continuing to support each other in all that they do!
